The Royal Cliff is a nice hotel....
The Royal Cliff is a nice hotel. it has nice facilities and the staff are nice and welecoming. However, we didi not like the location, because we are a family and wanted to frequently go in and out and the hotel was somehow remote. You needed a taxi for every trip from the hotel. Taxis are also not available all the time. The hotel offers taxi but for 3 times the price. The hotel is nicly located on a hill and very quite. But, it we would catagorize it for couples and business away from the crowds and shopping areas. The rooms we booked through AsiaRooms are located in the old wing and not as nice the the rooms in the other buildings. They offered us an upgrade, but was not worth it. The rooms are clean and large, but the beds are not comfortable. If you like to enjoy peaceful quite hotel with nice facilities like gem, tennis courts, golf etc.. this would be the place for you. But if you like to be in the crowds (shopping, walking, etc..) this place is not very convienient.
