I requested a king/double bed and was...
I requested a king/double bed and was given a twin bed room.
When I checked with the front desk they informed me that was all they could offer. They agreed to lock the two beds together but then the maid did not fit the beds with king sheets. I had to specifically ask her and then had to actually show her how to do it.
The lavatory faucet did not have an airater so the water was spraying everywhere. I informed front desk and they put on a hollow airater with no guts inside!! I gave up. The breakfast was very good and in-room safe worked very well and that is about the only compliments I can give. I will not however, stay at the Sunbeam again.

Just one minor trap : there is a small Map don't open it or bring it along with you ! They charge it !

Stayed before at the sunbeam.Staff are friendly and helpfull.The rooms are nice and clean and spacious.The only downside is having breakfast late.If you do you will find most of the food has gone cold.That is all I can fault it with.

Well, I stay 1 night at Sunbeam hotel and I must say the stay was not a pleasant one. The location was surrounded by bar and that make us uneasy when moving in and out from the hotel although there is a guardpost at the entrance. The room is alright with nice seaview. The bf spread was limited and not that tasty. Recommeded for those there for the night life. By the way, never plan to return on the 19 Apr (last day of Songkran at Pattaya), there will be a water war out there and traffic will come to a standstill. Enjoyable experience for us though... (",)

The room was clean and staff were friendly especially the security guards. The location was good - wthin short walking distance to the beach and shopping areas. The Sunbeam hotel is highly recommended if you do not mind the many bars around the hotel and its good value for money.

Stayed here twice before,going back November 2004 & April 2005. Staff very friendly & helpfull. Any problem with the rooms & it's delt with immediately.
Close to all bars & shops. You can not hear noise from bars when sleeping.

hotel for 8nights if it is only half as good then I will have a very good time again.

Looks like a nice hotel indeed, and OK rates as well. Perhaps I chose this hotel for my vacation in January.
