Excellent - service, food, entertainment, staff and the list goes on.
I have stayed at MANY hotels in Pattaya BUT the "newly refurbished" Thai Garden has NOW become my favourite.

A Pleasant Surprize

As it was Songkran (Thai New Year) I wanted something on the edge of town and a little away from the craziness that is Songkran festival in Pattaya. Getting soaked during the day is one thing but getting wet on your way to an aircon restaurant during darkness hours is quite something else. I have been to Pattaya before at this time of year so I knew what to expect. On arrival at the resort I had what turned out to be my only minor inconvenience when almost without checking they didnt recognize my name so were telling us that they had no booking. A turn of a page and everything was ok....they found the booking. I was impressed by the condition of the reception and the general easy going ambience of the hotel and the nice breeze blowing through reception during what is traditionally the hottest time of the year in Thailand. We were given a welcome fruit drink and quickly taken to our room at the back of the resort a minute or two away. As it was a late booking and I didnt pay for a poolside room this was no surprize. The room was bright, very clean with flat screen tv, aircon and all the essentials you might expect at the price. It was a no smoking room but there was a table and chairs out front with an ashtray for those that need one. There were also a nice bathgown and slippers for roaming around in. The gardens and grounds of the hotel were immaculate and the pool was large with about five jaccuzzis. There were also plenty of sunloungers for the amount of guests at the hotel (no need to get up early to get one). We stayed 2 nights and then extended our stay for one more night because it was so nice. The guests are mostly German, Thai and a sprinkling of other nationalities. The breakfast buffet was very good for most people including my Thai wife. We also ate several lunches and the evening buffet on one occasion. My wife and I can honestly say that the standard of food was great overall. The staff were friendly and very efficient.

Good food and eating facilities. Good central location if you want to be away from the more hectic areas. Hotel is attractively designed around its garden area. However, the atmosphere generally is likely to seem somewhat regimented to a Brit.

Thai Garden Resort ticks all the boxes!...

Thai Garden Resort ticks all the boxes! My husband and I stayed there for 7 nights and had a fabulous time. The staff are very friendly and courteous, the gardens are immaculate and the 63metre free form pool is in a league of its own! The resort is like an oasis in the desert and consists of bungalows, not your high rise hotel. The location is fabulous because it's not in the "hub" of activity but that is easily accessible. Just a 5 minute walk down to "Dolphin Roundabout" and you can get a baht bus for 10bht which does a circle route around Beach Road and Second Road. There's a Tesco Lotus Supermarket 3 minutes away and the resort encourages you to stock your empty refrigerator with goodies. No mini bar here which was a great idea. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This hotel does not stay still having...

This hotel does not stay still having stayed here before.there was some building work apparently going on ,which was absolutely no problem.The service of the staff at breakfast and reception was exceptional.The new swimming pool layout was enjoyable I know if you stay here you will be fine,because this is a very lovely hotel.Germany and Britain are one!!! I love Thailand and Pattaya.

Actually there service is good but not...

Actually there service is good but not for CHINESE. I booked superior room because their offical web site show there have one king size and one standard bed inside. Moreover I send mail to them before booking ask for twins bed in bungalow. But they replied have not twins bed for bungalow. When I arrived made a complaint I need twins bed(Because the superior just have one king size), the front desk answer me "we were full already..!!!" But when I continous and strongly request, they arranged a bungalow for me with twins bed........ So I have a question why the front desk tell lied and the e-mail replied also. The offical web is not update? They show very friendly and helpful towards GOLD hair also.
