This was the second time we have...

This was the second time we have stayed at the green park. we initially were offered a room near the rear of the hotel, but were not happy and were immediately offered a bungalow, which apart from not having a bath, was a real pleasure, and very private. Breakfast was good, if a little repetetive by the end of two weeks. all staff were polite and courteous, and smiled alot more this stay :) pool as always is presented well and well maintained, we noticed a lot more reserving with towels happening this time though!! but then there were also more german guests this stay. joiner fee remains low at 100baht per guest, and reception staff check ID's and issue guest passes for your protection. located well for a quiet stay - the nightlife and lights of pattaya remain only a short baht bus ride away for those of us who enjoy to have a livelier afternoon/night-time!!!.

Close enough to Pattaya beach road and...

Close enough to Pattaya beach road and second road with taxis always available to take you to walking street, out of the hustle and bustle of the main town but with plenty of bars just 100 meters away from complex. Good clean accommodation with very friendly staff that is always saluting, smiling and very helpful. The pool, bar and breakfast are excellent. Good for couples, elderly or if you want a bit of peace and quit at night.

The food in the restaurant was very...

The food in the restaurant was very poor, we only ate for three days. The staff are misserable.W e never got the room we paid for. We had to shower in the cold water of the swimming pool cubicles because we had a late flight, they would not let us use a shower in a room.

I stayed at Green Park resort in...

I stayed at Green Park resort in the middle of the Holiday Season so it was a bit pricey. The service was good overall and I especially wish to thank the night manager and his staff for their professional courteous service. My regret is that the rooms are in need of a makeover. The bathtub is poorly built and water drains onto the floor with every shower. Had this problem in both mine and my friends rooms. Trick is to place a small hand towel at the ends of the tub to block the drainage. At a three star resort however, that remedy should not be necessary. In future stays I will look for better rooms and just skip the pool, which was too cold in January anyways. V. H. Vu Orion Law Group

Staff and service was excellent. Thought it...

Staff and service was excellent. Thought it was overpriced for the quality of the room supplied. It was supposed to be superior, I do not think the room I had was superior, nothing like it. The landscaping and gardens were not particularly well tended. But on the whole it was okay. Asia rooms you are offering a good service, I recomend you to my friends. Jack Morris (John)

Nice hotel, very quiet and friendly. Bungalows very quiet and good for intimacy. Situation in marge of the busy area of Pattaya night life, allowing rest and night sleep when appropriate! A fitness room is clearly missing to my opinion. Breakfast a litle bit under the quality standards for food (fruits, bread, etc...) This hotel will stay in my memories for many years!

When i enter the room, i think...

When i enter the room, i think the room is big but kinda old fashioned. the light of bathroom is weak. the room was poor decorated. however, it's clean. the breakfast was very great. plenty of choices and good taste! the fruit was very fresh and delicious!!! must try! the swimming pool and the sun bathing area was excellent. the service of the staff was strange. firstly a staff gave us an outdated map for our visiting. but on the day we left, we gave tips to him. then he gave us a more updated map to us which included Pattaya and BKK... well... for holidays, i will stay again there :)

Four of us stayed in two Superior...

Four of us stayed in two Superior Bungalows (New) from 2006-12-06 to 2006-12-09. Front desk staff not friendly with Asians and they could manage to speak some simple english. Reception lobby was horrible. No kettle inside the room. Bathroom drainage was poor. Breakfast was only edible. Low class furniture but the swimming pool was fantastic. Waitress at coffee shop (open space area) was extremely hostile towards Asians. She always pulled a long face and never adddress me or my family a 'good morning'. Slow and always showed no response acknowledging our requests, such as asking for additional dishes, cutteries for my relatives who turned up late for breakfast and/or being asking to fill up coffee cups. On the contrast, she was extremely friendly towards expats. Though speaking little english, she made every attempts to greet and smile sweetly to Europeans. Some improvement was seen only after serious complaints was made to Food & Beverage Manager. Absolutely regret to have chosen this resort. Not valued for money, especially the poor service!

Check in was good, they had all...

Check in was good, they had all our details correct and the room was ready. Room was fine, bathroom fair to good. No coffee, tea or milk provided but a kettle is there so just buy some sachets from 7 - 11 or Family Mart. Air Conditioning worked well which was good relief from humidity. The bed was like a rock, I sleep on my sides and I'm sure I ended up with bruised hips. The breakfast was fine and the location of the Hotel is good as you are far enough away from the noise at night to relax. The pool is excellent. The only downside is that the hotel is popular with German single males, elderly who bring back Asian prostitutes, probably not suitable for young children but couples I would recommend as overall it is fine. Apart from as I satted the older fat, rude german men who bring back young asian women. Staff friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Not impressed at all...the whole place was...

Not impressed at all...the whole place was badly run and in need of new bedding , better facilities , more sunbeds and a new head receptionist with a nicer attitude . From the moment we arrived to find our room was ready to them giving us a room next to a construction site , then offering us a lesser room , nothing in the room as advertised , the room not being cleaned until I phoned and requested it at 16:00 , and the bedding with rips and tears. The one thing that was okay and I was surprised at was the breakfast , not a great selection but what there was was good and well presented and tasty . Look around for something better...it´ll pay you in the end.
