we enjoyed staying at mountain beach. but...
we enjoyed staying at mountain beach. but its too far from the main area. each time we have to spend 150 bhatt to go from hotel to the main area for eg., walking street, central pattaya and other shopping area. but for honeymooners and other elder people who want noiseless and much crowded they can stay over here. In room they should provide kettle for hot water and to make coffee or tea in our own. only we miss that and beautiful swimmingpool and good breakfast we had.

A very good value hotel between Pattaya and Jomtien beside a quiet beach.
Decent room,good breakfast and helpful staff. Not for those who want to be in the middle of the Pattaya nightlife.
I live in Bangkok with my wife...
I live in Bangkok with my wife for 6 months out of the year and we visit Pattaya most weekends while we are here. We have used a variety of hotels over the last four years and this was the best yet in the price bracket. I just happened to have my brother and his family over to stay and they were delighted with the standard of the hotel. It gave them an excellant impression of Pattaya and Thailand. We will most definitely be booking the Mountain Beach Hotel again.

Low budget accomodation. Poor service compared to...
Low budget accomodation. Poor service compared to other hotels we stayed at in Thailand. Bed was infested with some sort of vermin that left us with bites that required hospitalization. We originally booked for two nights, but left after the first. Breakfast Buffet was good, clean tables and good food. but overall I would avoid this place unless you are desperate.
