Review
It is not far away from pattaya bus station. Hardly 8 km and tuk tuk will only Baht 40 to 50 per person for this hotel. You can see this hotel on the map at bus station. I love the location of this hotel. When you open the window sea is in front of you and you can take deep breath of fresh air.

Gerry 2010
When booked online the cost is fine, however when the hotel uses there exchange rate it actually costs you substanstially more, people need to be aware of this.
The hotel tends to cater more for German and Russians, however the staff and maids ext are very polite and helpfull.
The place is clean and well kept the rooms are spacious and cleaned daily and to a good standard.
Overall we had a good time there and i think we had value for our money,it does need making clearer though that the facilities are good but you have to pay for the use of them all, exept the gymnasium and the internet service as extras, they are not included in the price quoted.

I stay here 10 years ago and...
I stay here 10 years ago and come back again in 2010 . They have redecorated the room but is getting older after years. They had a great improvement for the pool and garden with the lanscape is so different that before . With the spacious pool facing the main road and look across the jomtien beach still giving some privacy to the pool . Location is convineince is the reason i pick it again. Breakfast is with variey of choices . During the low season the breackfast is very relax with less people .Every room have the view of the ocean and upper floor is better .The bowling center still there , it was very special to have in the area.

This is a big package tour place...
This is a big package tour place - Russians especially - including many single Russian 'party-type' girls. The hotel is okay - but the rooms don't look as good as the photos on this Website or the hotel's own site - with worn out furniture and light fixtures - but the rooms we had (two joining) both had sofas and chairs. The place needs a facelift - lobby and lifts are old and lift doors scratched and graffiti - they have started renos with the swimming pool at the front which is quite nice - though I liked the previous free-form pool which is better for small kids. Still it's comfortable. Location is good as it's right across the street from the main Jomtien beach area (though that means it's very busy) and right next to the road that goes back to South Pattaya. Shennanigans Irish Pub is across the street and is the best Western food and cold draft beer of anyplace in Jomtien. Breakast at hotel was included and good selection buffet with a chef who can make you an omlette. Price wise you'll do better elsewhere - at 2,100 Bht per room per night at beginning of low season it seemed high. Pattaya has so many places it's better to stay there - but back from the action if with families, then drive over to Jomtien for the beach. Serviced apartments in Pattaya are probably the best bet for families - that's what we'll do next time. Oh - and note that Jomtien is also a 'gay' sexpat location if that is an issue for you. Wasn't for us.

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel over...
Stayed 3 nights in this hotel over the Thai New Year. Quite big lobby with rather gloomy furniture. Arrived at 12 pm and the room was not yet ready - their policy is check-in at 2 pm so no big probs with that. Staff overall friendly but their English is still very very poor. Hard to get any additional information. Room was surprisingly big with clean bathrooms and a powerfull aircon. Carpets very old and used. There was wifi in the lobby and the hotel rooms - guess what - not for free. They charge 100 Baht / hr (approx 3 USD per hours) which is simply rediculous in 2010. Tip: most of the bars around the hotel offer fast wifi for free to their customers.

I will under no circumstances go here...
I will under no circumstances go here again !! The first thing that meets you in the lobby is the unpleasant smell of mould. Enourmous reception with no good ventilation/aircondition. I was after a while brought to my room in the 11th floor. I asked for a room with kingsize bed, i got one bed 1 1/2 and one single bed. The room smelled really bad but i hoped this would get better after opening the aircondition for a while. I did not stay in the room, just went out for dinner and later for some nightlife. I came back 1 AM opened aircondition on max and fell asleep. Woke up again 3 hours later, the temperature had dropped about 2 degrees and the humidity in the room must have beeb like 90%. I called the reception and they came up only to do the same thing with the remote ive done myself. I demanded a new room because i couldnt sleep here, after 30 minutes i got another room just down the hall, opended aircondition and waited for 10 minutes, same same and i alo got an nasty smell of ammoniac or something as well in this room. I was told by the staff that this room was ok, and if i would move here i had to pack all my tings and move here this instance, at 4.45AM !!! I kindly gave the key to the new room back, went to my old room, got the most important of my personal belongings and left the hotel at 5 AM, 5:10AM i had a new room in a new hotel witch was 100% better and i fell asleep at once. I got back before checkout time, got my stuff and asked for my money back since they could not deliver the quality i would expect for a 4 star hotel. I could not get back anything since the room was booked through asiarooms(3 nights), but i didnt care as long as i got away from this miserable place. It would be in place with a new walkthrough for the stars of this hotel, i would under no conditions give them more than 2 stars !! Have a nice holiday in Jomtien/Pattaya but do yourself an favour and find something better than this !!

My stay at the Jomtiem Beach was...
My stay at the Jomtiem Beach was good. It was a very clean and friendly hotel. The pool area was beautiful - very well designed. The Palm Terrance Resturant, at the front of the hotel was also good. The staff were very friendly. My only critisims would be that the staff in the bowling alley, didnt make you feel very wellcome and the beach was not soft sand. Other than that a very good hotel
