The Loma resort was relatively cheap but maybe not such value for money. The room safe was locked on arrival, and it took 3 days to get it unlocked. There seemed to be very few staff working at the hotel. The minibar was not re-stocked on at least two days. Also on arrival there was a dubious looking stain on the underside of the toilet lid, which I almost cleaned off myself but then decided against getting too close to it. This was still there when we checked out 5 days later, as were various other things on the floor which would normally be cleaned up on daily basis. The free breakfast was poor, to the extent that on 3 days out of 5 we chose to walk 15 minutes to other establishments and pay again to eat something worth sitting down to. The swimming pool was good, and the location is quiet. The quality of the room itself was good for the price.

For 3 Stars, the hotel is absolutly...

For 3 Stars, the hotel is absolutly ok and the price is in average. 5 days I stayed in hotel with my wife, dougther and grandparents. The service people are bestirs and friendly. The hotel is located in a calm area, therefore it´s not noisy from bar music, drunken people or Motor vehicles in the night. You have 8 Min. to reach the Citybus for go to Pattaya City or otherwise where. The Citbus is going 24 hours a high frequency. Anyway you can go by foot, it´s not so far, about 30 or 40 Min to the city. The Hotel is not direct in front of the beach but it´s not far to go by foot, about 5 or 10 Min. Breakfast buffet is sufficient and was ok. The swimming pool in hotel plant is very nice and in a sufficiently large. All togehter we had a nice time and most likely we come again to this area.

This resort is clean and tidy but...

This resort is clean and tidy but the location is not very good. Cheaper public transportation cannot reach the hotel. You have to walk over 20min to reach the hotel after getting off the cheap public transportation. It is not recommended to bugget travelers because the rate of the hotel is high. Moreover, the hotel itself is old. However,if you don't mind to walk about 20min from the hotel, you can get the cheap public transportation to the centre of pattaya in about 15mins. Furthermore, the staff of the hotel is nice and helpful. Although this hotel is not too far away from the centre of pattaya, it is quite quiet and i think it is more suitable for family and couple to stay here for one or two days.

I had stayed at Loma for 4...

I had stayed at Loma for 4 days in Jun 2009,this was the second time I stayed there. Overall was over the average, the swimming pool was very nice as well as the bar service. But the bread-fast only met one star standard, and you are better to rent a motorbike or car because of the location is not so convenience.

I stayed at this hotel from May...

I stayed at this hotel from May 3rd to May 5th of 2009.　The first impression of Tonsak Resort was a very nice. All staffs were very friendly and the location also great (5min from Nadan Port by Sonteu, 3min from the gate of national park by walking). I stayed at the Delax Room A.　The room is clean, and the size of the room was enough also. All rooms were the bungalow styles, the pavement to each room was colored by a lot of plants and flowers. And, it is possible to go to the beautiful beach (White sand beach) immediately by walking from any rooms. I think it is ok about the price of the room according to the average price of Koh Samet's hotels. I don't think that you should expect breakfast. There is only two choices. ABF (Fried egg, sausage, and two slice of bread, and a cup of coffee or tea) or Asian BF (the porridge, and a cup of coffee or tea). However, it should be OK because there are a lot of restaurants arounnd the hotel. If I go back to the Koh Samet, I will use this hotel again.

Nice hotel (Good pool), quiet location and...

Nice hotel (Good pool), quiet location and still close to all the services. Beware to get the type of room you have reserved, reception tried to give us lower class rooms than reserved (and paid). Situation was corrected after brief negotiation and one night delay for one person of our group. I woud come again.

Bed and flat sheet is not clean Bathroom shower is not hot enough The map is misleading, I spent an hour to find the hotel Staff is nice, friendy and helpful. Oil massage and herb massage is very good Swimming pool is very nice Good for buget traveller

This property's web site was very misleading....

This property's web site was very misleading. It is nowhere near any beach and about a 10 minute walk to nearest tuk tuk route. Also, the rooms were dank and dirty, the staff was not very helpful and the rooms we had confirmed before our trip were not available when we got there. Definitely give this place a miss!
