Location poor, at bottom end of beach....
Location poor, at bottom end of beach. problem to get taxis there and back from Jomtien. Staff friendly and rooms clean, though pool is spartan and too many rules! Breakfast should be renamed "taiwanese" with cold eggs and ham at the end of the counter just in case a farang shows up! basically, rooms clean but old, there are no facilities at all at the hotel, sadly we will not return there

The resort is a bit run down....
The resort is a bit run down. The room is fairly good size with a small kitchen. However everything in the room is down down, including the aircon. The bathroom needs more lightings, as the tiles are dark in colour making the place looks dim. Breakfast is pretty basic.

The room was big and clean (superior) with fantastic seaview. We woke up with sunshine and seaview every morning. The bathroom was acceptable but no amenities at all, you need to prepare toothbrush, shower cream ...ect. The breakfast was OK (no mosquitoes around to share your food). 200Batt for snooker-playing and the swimming pool was a bit small. The location was at the end of Jomtien beach, 10 minutes drive to down town. Overall, I highly recommended this hotel to budget traveller which the price is attractive and resonable.

Our stay at the resort was very good, this being our second visit at the resort. The language was a problem at times, but the staff was always courteous and polite. My children want to go back again.

We stayed in a standard room on...
We stayed in a standard room on 15th floor. All rooms appear to have angled balconies to incorporate the sea views. Easy chairs and table in a separate enclosure almost made it a suite. Our room was clean and well maintained. Renovation has been started in this hotel, but I saw a room on lower floor that still needed to be refurbished. The walk in price I paid for some friends was 1500 Bht per night. ($50Au) so the Internet price is a bargain. The only critism I can offer is the size of the pool, which is only medium compared to other hotels. The Chef is good and meals are as good as you'll get anywhere. The hotel is popular with locals which is also a good indication. All I can say is that from our four day stay I recommend it to anybody. In the driveway is a 'resident' tuk-tuk, with a great driver who understands basic English who can give you a great tour of local attractions. Overall it is great value for your money.

First impressions a little disappointing when we saw the rooms, particularly the bathroom. The bathroom was a bit worn out and in need of a major overhaul, only one tap on the sink (cold)thin towels and a shower that refused to provide hot water for the final five days of our stay. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice. However, having said all this the rest of what the hotel had to offer was very good,on a par with more expensive hotels. Breakfast was more varied with regard to local dishes, however the western choice remained the same every day, pity!evening dinner though was very good. In conclusion,we had a very enjoyable stay and can say that we would have no hesitation in staying at the Sigma Resort Club again in the future ( the view from our room was great) Thanks for everything Yardley Graham.U.K.
