I stayed at the hotel in October...
I stayed at the hotel in October with 4 friends and loved it.
The staff at check in were great, super friendly and always having fun with you. The rooms are very clean and have great beds. Bathrooms are fine. The breakfast is basic, but good and i will be back next month!!!!

Stayed 8 days Nov 2005, returning again New Year. Recommend strongly, agreeing with all reviewers comments. Only negative is that the Exec room on third flr, main building probably not worth extra expense over lesser rooms with safes.
Great position, good outside bar and great staff.
Should be proud of Nas, staff, who makes all feel valued and has the nack of "making" one's holiday. Good Sports Bar with 3/4 size snooker table, as well as pool - staff love to keep score. Great value.
Please keep up the good work - Areca Lodge is one hotel I would keep returning to!

What a stag week in Pattaya I am lost for words the hotel was fantastic the people are so helpful and happy its as close as you come to paradise.

VERY IMPRESSED, HAVE STAYED IN MANY HOTELS IN THAILAND FOR ITS RATING AND COST THIS IS GOOD. STAFF FRIENDLY, USED ROOM SERVICE MOST DAYS FOR FOOD THIS WAS QUICK AND STILL WARM. IF NEEDED ANYTHING EXTRA FROM ROOM SERVICE WE GOT. GOOD SIZED SWIMMING POOLS PLENTY OF SUNBEDS AND SHADED AREAS. ALTHOUGH ONLY 5MINS WALKING DISTANCE FORM BEACH YOU DO HAVE TO CROSS THE MAIN ROAD WHICH IS 4 LANES WIDE GOING IN 1 DIRECTION. THIS IS A HOTEL I WILL STAY AT AGAIN.

I have stayed at the Areca Lodge twice a year since it opened. It has clean and comfortable rooms, air con, all the facilities and very friendly staff. Very central to all activities and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Exellent for golfing groups. Robert Bower, Fremantle Western Australia.

The Hotel is five star for value. Aust $xx per night gets you an airconditioned fully serviced clean room with a private balcony and breakfast for two people. The hotel has the facilities of a 5 star hotel.
