My wife and I did enjoy staying in this hotel. It already was our second stay in it but in two different room category. This time it was better.
The improvements I would like to see would be :
- that the swimming pool waiters would be a bit more reactive regarding the drinks orders...always too long,
- to improve the breakfast quality, I would qualify it of so so,
- to repair the machines in the fitness center AND to write some guidance to be able to use these properly,
- to be able to pay the hotel massages on the room bill AND to reduce their prices which are 2 to 3 more expensive than outside..it is pity.
However, I will obviously come back in this hotel because, the room are big enough, very maintained (Many thanks for the maid), and the bed is confortable and the bathroom works properly.
Also, the hotel is well located : not too far from the beach, next to the nightlife area without the noice inconvenience and close to the shopping malls.
They accept any king of credit card which very appreciable.
We will surely come back.

great place to stay
I have stayed many times at areca and like it a lot as the staff are friendly helpful and understanding and the breakfast and swimming pools are very good.It is conveniently located and is well situated so is quiet in the rooms.
My only complaint regarding my visit this time is that i booked a deluxe room with asia rooms and was given the standard room on my arrival.After bringing this to the attention of the staff they apologised stating that all the rooms were full .But this is not a big problem as all the rooms are good.Probably more of a complaint against asia rooms booking service.

A good central location hotel close to nightlife,food and beach
Paid 2150 Baht per night including breakfast so we where very happy. Great hotel in the middle of Pattaya .
Great Hotel
This is our second time at Areca Hotel and it lived up to our memory and exceeded it. Clean room, clean pool and great staff. Situated right in the heart of town and walking distance to everywhere. Would throughly recommend this hotel and will be back again hopefully very soon.
Good time
Overall my time at the Areka was pleasant,i have no real complaints,i spent most of my time out of the room but while i was there it was comfortable.I only had breakfast a couple of times which was fine,not a huge selection but enough to get you going.My room was quiet so i didn't hear the goings on outside.Overall good hotel,close to everything.Geoff, Australia.

Great location, good value, nice swimming pools & friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel to friends & would stay again.
Excellent place to stay
I stayed with my 14yr old daughter and her mother. The room for 3 persons was very spacious and comfortable swimming pools (there is two) were very large and the hotel is right in the centre of everything you need.
I woul reccomend this hotel to families as there were many guest with children stying there
