The Mercure is fairly well located and...
The Mercure is fairly well located and provides a 24 hour shuttle to the center only 10 minutes walk away in any case. A very nice plaza with Vila supermarket, bars etc is adjacent, 2 minutes from the hotel. The pool is lare very well maintained and attended. Breakfast is served in the restaurant poolside and is varied and plentiful. A nice night time bar is provide..with live jazzy stlye music. Overall We had a really nice stay and look forward to going bacK

my first stay at this mercure. in...
my first stay at this mercure. in every respect except one, it is excellent - the problem area is the restaurants, thai food fine but the mercure provides an international menu. good but in my opinion they need a chef who understands these dishes including pastry. their cottage pie is quite awful. hence breakfast not good :-(

Modern, chain hotel which a BKK taxidriver...
Modern, chain hotel which a BKK taxidriver had difficulty finding. All necessary facilities and amenities are available but if you bring an overnight guest it will cost you extra (B500, I think the receptionist said). Location not the greatest; far enough down soi 15 off Second road for the hotel to have to provide transport. Bedroom generally OK but shower only, no bath tub which would be my preference. This is really not acceptable at an hotel of this standard. My room had a poor location being on the corner of two wings. Had they a mind to, the occupants of about a hundred other rooms could look into my room from their balcony.

The hotel was quality from beginning to...
The hotel was quality from beginning to end. The service was impeccable and the room was wonderful. Nice and quiet and still close to Beach Road. Beautiful gardens and great pool. The breakfast was first class. The internet was a tad expensive. One suggestion: teach the staff a tad more foreign language as it was difficult to ask for some things. All up a wonderful experience in a quality hotel.

this was my first time to stay...
this was my first time to stay in MERCURE HOTEL in pattaya the hotel in wonderfull very clean breakfast so nice rooms are so clean location was not so far from bessy life as the hotel is providing a transport 24 hour up and down to the main road I realy enjoied my stay its realy a 5 star hotel I would absolutely stay there again next time I was so pleased with the HOTEL,many thanks to all the staff in that hotel also many thanks to asiarooms.com for arranging this hotel for me God bless all

The Mercure has a very friendly atmosphere....
The Mercure has a very friendly atmosphere. The rooms were a decent size but bathroom a little small. Room cleaners kept forgetting to replace used items and on one occassion reception threatened a charge when asked to supply more tea! This was an exception though and in all the staff were great. Good choice at breakfast, pool good size and not too busy. Do prefer North Pattaya to Central. There is a free Baht taxi drop off to the end of the Mercure access and not having instant walk to places didn't curtail our enjoyment. All in all a good place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay here, location was good and rooms were clean and with modern decor, but small. Pool wasn´t overcrowded so pleasant and spa facilities on site. There´s no view to the beach really, which is what we requested on the 6th floor, but it is nothing to look at so probably better on the pool side

Nice modern facility, the pool is absolutly...
Nice modern facility, the pool is absolutly awesome. It is a little from the beach but the transfer is super quick and efficent. The room was a little small and the bathrooom tiny but still ok. In a few years the place might be quite run down due to a bit of a cheap build quality but is fine now.
