I have stayed here 4 times now,...

I have stayed here 4 times now, its a value for money hotel situated in a quiet soi, away from all the noisy soi's with loud music etc. Only a few mins walk though if thats what you prefer. 1 min walk to the beach. The hotel is clean and the staff have always been helpful and friendly.

As such the superior/deluxe rooms were good....

As such the superior/deluxe rooms were good. The breakfast was good enough for non-vegetarians but for vegetarian class of people it was not at par. The staff was a mix of good and cold people. The best part is that the hotel was near to the beach. But i doubt that any room has a Sea View as the name suggests. Probably it had a sea view when it was built long ago but now with other construction in between I doubt any room has a sea view.

That room was much better than I...

That room was much better than I had expected! I'm satisfied with the room very much. Only because of of thing, there is no swimming pool, I cannot recommend this hotel to family tourists with kids.

location was very good,rooms were very good(bathroom...

location was very good,rooms were very good(bathroom could be better)stayed or two nights booking with asiarooms.com.wanted to book for longer whilst there as read what people on this site said that it would be cheaper to book direct with hotel untrue.they wanted nere double what i paid with asiarooms.com.advise pre book.the location is fab come out of hotel turn right 300yrds you are on beech rd,turn left from hotel 300yrds 2nd road.what more do you want.

If your looking for the pool and...

If your looking for the pool and a big flash breakfast don't bother but if you want a simple clean room with staff that are as laid back as the guests and a lazy atmosphere the Sawasdee Seaview has it...mind you they do need someone who can make coffee in the morning, you could lay roads with the stuff they serve at breakfast...but that's the worst of it...love the joint our golf tour stays there every year...we'll be back

My partner and I have booked alot...

My partner and I have booked alot of places through asia rooms and have been very happy so far. But this was the worst experience we have ever experienced and I have stayed at alot of places. When we arrived the receptionist asked my partner to pay for our booking, to our horror, as we has already paid through the internet already. After telling her this the receptionist handed us a key, after paying 1000 BHT deposit, and mentioned she is not sure if the room has been cleaned yet but we can go up. The doorman / "bag boy" carried our bags up and showed us to our room. When we got to the door the cleaning trolley was outside the front door. When we were shown our room the bedroom area was clean but the bathroom was dirty and there were dirty towels on the floor. I tipped the doorman and asked him to please bring us some clean towels so that we can shower as we had been on a train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok for 24hours and then a 4 hour bus ride to Pattaya, so we were feeling really smelly. After a while I assumed that the towels were not coming so I phoned the receptionist and asked her to please bring some fresh towels. After a while longer nothing. So my partner went downstairs and asked the doorman what is the situation and he said that there will only be fresh towels at 5pm. Ok why didn't he just tell us. So we used our beach towels which luckily we had with us. We went out to eat and when we got back at 2.30 pm to our surprise we had fresh towels in our room. Obviously the doorman was saving face - and customer service is not on his list of his agenda. We stayed three nights and had an awful time. When we asked for ice for our room we were expected to pay 100 BHT deposit for the glases and 20 BHT for the ice. When we checked out they took 200 bht off our deposit for a stain that was on the sheets that could easily be washed off in a washing machine. I am disgusted by the service in this hotel and will never stay or recommend it to anybody.
