The room was very spacious and well fitted out. The bed was very comfortable. On the whole, we had a very pleasant stay, though there were a few a few niggles:
* Some of the staff were quite clueless. They were very courteous, but sometimes not much help.
* Room keys were an unusual swipe card. My wife and I were given only one, so it had to be left at reception if we left the hotel separately. A 1,000 THB charge applies if the card is lost.
* Noise. The location is excellent, in the middle of town and close to the beach, but also close to the bars. Loud music until 3am may not suit light sleepers.
* Internet charges: I cannot understand how any hotel in this price-range can justify charging for wireless internet access.
