Urban Haven
Stayed in a 2-bdrm suite in early January with 4 other friends. Staff very friendly, the room was clean and spacious, and the balconies were wonderful. The common area between the rooms had a full kitchen/living room, and one of the bedrooms also had a kitchen. Hotel is walking distance to shops but not very close to the beach. The pool is clean and tropical. Only complaint is that the swim up bar at the pool is not stalked or manned, so it took a while to get drinks. However, you can take your own drinks/food to the pool. Overall, great place for the price. Wifi was also very reliable the entire time.
Do not stay there
The room was facing the street and extremely noisy. A request to change room was basically ignored unless I would have paid another THB1,000. The wireless Internet was not working and there was a single workstation downstairs which was usually unavailable as other people were using it constantly.
On the second day the water pressure was hardly enough to shower and no hot water at all. The only reasonable thing was the breakfast.
The hotel was refurbished but the quality of workmanship was poor, Like the towel rack fell down etc.etc. I recommend do not stay there
The staff are very nice and helpful. The facilities in room a little bit old...but still acceptable. I stayed at Pool Access room and it is very nice. Location is bad, near North Pattaya Road. 15 mins walks distance to Beach Road. A little but noise at night.
Great for family
Lovely hotel. Spacious. Artistic touches. Kids loved it. Only gripe -- town of Pattaya is run down, seedy.

Very good hotel and facilities,only thing is a bit far from beach and from city centre,but with the cheap tuk-tuk is ok.

My favorite part of Pattaya was this hotel. The pool is large and accessible from many rooms. Due to the pools central location I was able to watch my 8 year old daughter and 9 year old niece from our junior suite. Very convenient. As a health nut, I especially liked the gym, complete with A/C, towels, water and TV. They also had showers and a yoga room!
Another plus of this hotel was the free wifi making this a great place for business travelers or anyone who likes to keep up with emails!
The suite was large, 2 rooms with a kitchen, large bathroom and dining area. The kitchen also had a microwave and large fridge!
Just around the corner is a Family Store and ATM - also a small food vendor for yummy, and cheap thai food!
My only complaints were the lack of service on our arrival (no one to take out bags when we pulled up) and no shower head in the junior suite, only a bathtub with a removable water head. The other rooms seem to have showers.
Overall, this ranks amongst one of the best hotels i've ever stayed at.
Oh yeah, the buffet breakfast was good but not great but the staff was very friendly!

Mantra Pura was a beautiful and well-serviced hotel in which to stay. ALL personnel were helpful, kind, and professional. Good American breakfast too! Beautiful pool with swim-up bar, but the bar was not being used at the time we were there. I was disappointed about that, but I look forward to the next time I can stay there! I highly recommend it to anyone!!
