We stayed in this hotel for 9...
We stayed in this hotel for 9 days and it wasn't what we expected.We booked a deluxe room but the bathroom is so small that when one is sitting on the toilet the other has no space left.The view is perfect,( we stayed at the 22th floor ), the hotel is right on the beach road but it's a quit area.(no problem for us)
But what surprised me a lot was breakfast.There are all kinds of food but almost everything is cold!And when it's 09.55 hr they come to your table to tell you have 5 minutes left to get some food because breakfast ends at 10.00!!I think that's ridiculous for a 5 star hotel.And then the pool:there were 40 sun beds but only 5 ( very old ) mattresses!So you could lay down on a wooden bed!( not very comfortable)
There was also a lot of noise because they were building new conference halls.The noise was so loud that we went to the beach in stead of staying on the pool.It was really terrible!( they started at 8.30 in the morning!!)
But the hotel is very clean, the staff very friendly but I don't think we'll come again because next time I will choose another area ( more busy )

My wife and I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms were very good, the service was excellent, the pool and facilities were good and everyone at the hotel was very helpful. The included breakfast is fantastic and the hotel run a free shuttle-bus every night to Walking Street and the shopping centres every night.
The only downsides were that A)The centralised air con systems are very noisy (especially at night), B)There is a lot of building work going on so watch out for which side of the building your room is on (try to get a higher floor and C)The internet in the hotel is pricey.

Overall the hotel was fine but at time of visit in August 2008, it was not finished and resembled a construction site immediately outside the main building. The swimming pool was unspectacular but the main pool was still under construction.

I thought the evening buffet was below par, in price, quality and taste, when compared to what was available outside the hotel.
In the online advertisment for the hotel free internet access was promised, however internet access was also more expensive than what was available elsewhere.
There was also problems accessing an outside line when using the telephone, particularly for international calls.
Having said all that the staff were very polite and helpful and the overall I thought it was better than average value for money.

This was my second stay. On arrival I was overwelmed by being offered a welcome drink, another lady asking for my passport, another asking for my $50 deposit (i refused to pay it) whilst the porter was taking all my bags away including my briefcase with passport. By the time I retrieved my passport the welcome drink had been removed! After a long journey this was too much! Overall staff were very efficient at opening doors, pressing lift buttons and giving practised smiles but less efficient at changing failed light bulbs (3 days to fix)or at providing tea bags in the room each day as promised. This hotel is good but overpriced compared to others.

While the stay was overall pleasant, the last day was disappointing. The last night before the departure I went to the reception to settle my account so that in the morning we could leave for the airport without delay. However in the morning I was told that I had to pay more for the mini bar despite the fact that we did not drink anything from the fridge. I paid what they wanted, but this treatment left bad aftertaste in my mouth after a pleasant holiday.

I like the hotel very much. We had a great view from our room. The rooms were spacious enough but a bit dusty.
The location of the hotel is perfect. It is not in the middle of the crowd and the beach is cleaner than it is in Pattaya.
