Our plan have been change , feight change to 04/Dec/11 to 07/Dec/11.

high on price, low on quality
even booking through asia rooms the price of this hotel was very high concidering the low quality of the rooms.the breakfast also was very poor and eating area was generally dirty. i cannot recomend it in any way and after my booked 2 nights stay i moved to another hotel with a better standard and a lower price. further more the amount of discount quoted by asia rooms upon my booking proved to be vastly exagerated on arrival to check in!!

My opinion is due to 4 hotels in same place with different options and standards so try to improve standard in swasdee pataya.

Front desk would only help in so much as to prevent
a confrontation. No real help.

Perfect location, good/friendly staff, but had few problems. a) Most of the guest are single but pay for a double bed as they come to Pattaya to meet their girl friends, Hotel allow Girl Friends as Guest but when it come to Breakfast that is supposed have paid with the Room Rate, they Charge. (Room is for 2 person but Breakfast only for 1 person). However, if you book directly to Hotel itself and not thru AsiaRooms or any other Agent, they provide the Room at same rate with Breakfast Slips for 2 people.
b) TV - Channels, very few English Channels out of 60 Channels they have. Very Old Movie Channel.
But, BBC, Aljazeer and other News Channels are available. So, there is good and bad. It is best to make one's mind to accept both and just go for it.
I will proberbly will stay again in the same Hotel.

we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at sawasdee pattaya hotel thru asiarooms.com 3 weeks in advance but at the last minute we decided that we will arrive earlier than expected so we booked another day and got confirmed. when we arrived there @ 10 pm, we were told that no room was available and we had to check in at sawasdee seaview hotel for the night and had to move back to sawasdee pattaya hotel for the remaining 2 days. they had no car service to transfer us over so we had to hire and pay another taxi to get there.luckily, the manager of sawasdee seaview granted our request to save us the hassle of transfering back to sawasdee pattaya,with no additional charge.
overall, we had a nice stay and got no complain. the hotel is close enough to everything: beach, malls and restaurants. and yet, it's far enough from the noises of the bars and discos nearby.

it's a good hotel for budget tourists. Staff is very friendly. Sawadee pattaya has parking. It is very comfortable if your have motorbike or a car. Good luck!
