We stayed at the Sea Orchid on...
We stayed at the Sea Orchid on recommendation from a friend who lives quite near and we have to say that it does exactly what it says on the box!! All rooms were clean and tidy with daily towel and bed change. Pool and beach towels were also freely available which was a great asset. Our original booking was for the larger room but we decided to move to the smaller pool-side room when we had to extend our stay because of the volcanic ash fiasco. Breakfast was provided in our booking which was more than adequate - bacon, omelettes, etc were all available on request. The staff were also fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. We were extending our stay on a daily basis and the desk staff were more than happy to do their best and make calls for us. We would add that we did have our own transport so getting around was easy, particularly as we played golf, so check that the location is right for you although taxis are readily available. Well done Sea Orchid!

We think tissues would be asset in...
We think tissues would be asset in the bathroom,also more stations on the t.v. The staff were very nice and helpfull.

The hotel is good and quiet located,...
The hotel is good and quiet located, in between Pattaya and Jomtien Beach area. Rooms are modern and with wooden floors, shower a little bit old-fashioned but clean. Personnell friendly, motor-bikes for rent.

Stayed for 4 nights and we hardly...
Stayed for 4 nights and we hardly saw any other guest at the Hotel. The swimming pool side walk was under rennovation. No Coffee Maker in the room, Rooms were big and nicely done. There was no big difference in booking the room over the internet. infact I could have got a good deal, if I had approached directly. Break fast had limited options.

great hotel, nice staff, but the location is a bit far from the town, and the breakfast is cold :( but i still will stay at this hotel again if i go pattaya

The hotel is nice and the location quiet,but a little far from the center.The rooms perfect and very clean.I like it much.The laundry service just perfect. The breakfast was to simple and the internet service with not good speed.

The hotel is quietly allocate away from the busy part of the pattaya city . So this is a more peaceful location if you prefer an exclusive feeling during the vacation. Get to resort hotel feel with the swimming pool in a good size . Bolcany from every room can see the sunset on the armchair . Very relax and quiet enviroment in the neibourghood durign the day. Room is simple decoration in a good size with a touch of the mexican feel in the bathroom decoration . Have shuttle bus to the walk street of pattaya. But in the return you may need to get a taxi back to the hotel or walk with 30 mins up + down the hill road. It is a cute place to stay and good value !!

The hotel has a great swimming pool...
The hotel has a great swimming pool with plenty of sun beds. It does not suffer from the idiots who get up early to put a towel on a sun bed. My pet hate. The gym is well equiped with a TV above the running machines, a multi-gym and some free weights. The bedrooms are a good size with an OK bathroom with shower over the bath (not a wet room) Location, The hotel is half way between Pattaya beach and Jontiem beach. It is a slow five minute walk to the local beach which is a small bay, very nice, quiet and clean. The town of Pattaya is a five minute motorbike taxi ride away which I think is just right if you are a couple or family. Pattaya has lots of great shopping, loads of great food/eateries and a world famous bar/night life for singles. I enjoyed my stay and will return in future.

I came across this hotel by way...
I came across this hotel by way of a review on a thai blog. Its a fairly new hotel. I stayed during the off peak season so the hotel was rather quiet. Its location is about 5 minutes motorbike ride away from the bustling town. Quiet and peaceful. The room is big and clean. The bathroom is a bit small and dark though. Breakfast was a simple affair, a choice of either western or oriental. However they didnt have buffet style since it was off peak season. Would be great if they offered "buffet" style as in unlimited orders from the kitchen. Overall its a nice place to consider if you dont mind the distance.
