Nice resort but noisy rooms
Very nice Resort, with tropical garden, birds in trees, swimming pool, friendly service, etc...
but the Rooms are very noisy, from a poor system of Air conditioner. They should work on it, cos' you can't get a good rest here... It's a shame.

Had a wonderful time at this hotel....
Had a wonderful time at this hotel. we (meaning me, my wife and baby, brother + mother and father-in-law) stayed in 3 rooms at this hotel and loved it. the rooms were clean, a good size, presentable, very good air conditioning but a superrrb hygenic bathroom. Also the tv was nice and bigish, the fridge was cold and we all felt like we could truely relax there in comfort which we did. There was also a good hilton style safe, hair dryer and other little bits and bobs that meant we were rarely without. Left outside the hotel is a starbucks, a 7eleven and a pier where so many excursions can be booked to other islands or even a floating restaraunt where you can eat under the stars, fish for squid overboard occasional shows. For those with familes who dont want to brave the harshness of walking streets many bars and girls, turn left outside the hotel. Walking street is for the single guys or those that can take things in their stride. we didnt mind it but my in-laws avoided as often as possible. There was only a few negatives which was we often ordered from room service which was occasionally either delivered to the wrong room or didnt turn up and that when we 1st arrived 1 hotel staff who made us extremely angry treated my wife like a hooker who had just walked in from the streets which I immediately complained about and he seemed to be taken off duty or was hidden somewhere for the rest of the day. all my wife was doing was asking for a few more tea bags as we are english and likely to drink at least 5 cups each a day and there was only 1 in the room. We all felt that it was wrong to treat a woman that way (she was so upset) and that he was wrong twice in that he should not let his personal feelings interfere with the paying guests stay. the other issue here was it took me 3 days to track down half of our laundry and in particular an expensive pair of levis red lable 501 jeans that was hard to get back. If you can ignore the problems we had and perhaps you will experience perfection then this hotel is gorgeous and i would definitely stay there again.

Luckily for me, I stayed during the...
Luckily for me, I stayed during the red shirts protesting so nobody wanted to go to Thailand, meaning I got my double room for half price at THB 3,300 per night and the hotel was relatively empty. The room was airy, modern and clean and is very similar to a double room at the Majestic Grande in Bangkok. I didn't buy breakfast, but did buy lunch at the restaurant, which is pricey with the quality of food just being fine and to be honest, food at bigger name restaurants on Walking Street are cheaper and just as good. The location is ideal if you like South Pattaya and Walking Street, but the nearest shopping centre is Royal Garden Plaza, so you will need to get a baht bus to get there as you'll get cooked in the heat if you try to walk there during the day time. Personally the Central Festival Shopping centre is better, but further away. I'd only consider staying here again if I get the same price or lower as I don't think this hotel is worth more than THB 3,000 a night.
