Must Try
Great time for kids young and old, life guard on site, lots of games and entertainment by the pool. New rooms are big for 4, modern and nicely decorated. Staff is friendlier than any other hotel I have stayed in Thailand - if you can imagine that! Definitely worth it when looking for a quick getway from Bangkok, but not a place for those looking for a nice beach.
Solid Hotel
Overall a good hotel. A little further away from Walking Street than others. But it's just a slightly longer ride on the baht bus. Hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are ok but a bit worn. This is nothing surprising as other Hard Rock hotels (ie Las Vegas) are like this as well.
Good pool area with cabanas to rent. Lots of pool activities for those interested.
Would stay here again.

The hotel is very entertaining for the kids as it has lots of activities for them to do in the pool.

I had booked the rooom for three...
I had booked the rooom for three weeks before going with the extra bed in the room but it was not provided by hotel and I had spent one hour for waiting them to set up the extra bed. Then I came to know that it is only sofa that they had changed to an extra bed.

Great gym, not just a little room with some hometrainer. No, they really got an excellent fully equiped gym!
The Pool is also very nice and big. Got water games.
Great location, close to the supermarket Tops.
Negative:
expensive Internet access, we booked 2 nights and extended one night. Normally by 3 nights you get a bonus dinner, but because we did 2+1 booking, we did not got it. Finding it not very customer friendly.
Anyway, we ate outside because we were mad about this.
