This was easily the best value hotel...

This was easily the best value hotel I have ever booked. Most of all I loved the swimming pool and the room. We had a deluxe room, very clean and nice (maybe apart from the chairs on the balcony, but we didn't sit there anyway). The only bad things I can point out was the lack of privacy in the bathroom (there was a big window between the bathroom and the room) and the service at the reception desk (instead of being welcomed, they kept on talking on the phone and ignoring us). Apart from those small details, everything was fine. Breakfast was nice and they let you take pool towels out of the hotel which is good for tours and the beach. The location is also good, not loud, but close enough to walk to the market, shopping centre, Bangla Road etc. Would recommend this hotel to everyone - it is as nice as more expensive hotels, but without the high price!

Hi, It is good that you will ask for customer feedback. During the stayed at Baumanburi, the service, room, environment was good. I have one thing wish to bring up is, jagucci in pool, both for lay down & sitting style, the pattern of mosaic used for the edge of jagucci were too sharp and dangerous for guest. My friend was accidentally slipped down when walking toward jagucci, her knee was injured by the edge and bleeding. This incident you may bring to hotelâ€™s management for their attention. At the same time, we were not that happy during this trip in Phuket were, your policemen / traffic men were actually blackmail us. This was very bad experience. We went to pub for drinking, came back to hotel by driving our rented motorcycle. One of my friends was asked to stop by your police and claimed he against law of driving after drinking alcohol. Your police didnâ€™t issue traffic fine but asking my friend to pay them Ringgit Malaysia 2000 to claim license & passport. I think that if an official traffic fine would not be this expensive cost thai baht 20,000 a bill, right? It was too bad, only 2 persons at the spot and we didnâ€™t record down your policemen ID or any photo taken. We couldnâ€™t make any police report. Another one was, my friend bought a coconut from a stall along beach side, gave the hawker 500baht but he only refund 50baht, he said that we only gave him 100baht. My friend only himself there, we didnâ€™t beside him when he bought the coconut, didnâ€™t see the hawker keep money in which pocket. Well, we as tourist were very hard to fight with your local men. What could we do? Only thing we felt were, being conned! Please inform your tourism board, tourists are not that rich to pay for this kind of service! Compare to Bangkok city, it is worth for money, things cheaper, more variety. I will not return to Phuket since bad experience I had!

We booked the standered room and upgrade...

We booked the standered room and upgrade to deluxe as we could here the traffic in the standered room. but the deluxe room was great,big with an outlook on to the swiming pool. The service was good. The staff were very helpfull.Would stay there again.

WE LOVED THE BAUMANBURI. THE POOL ACCESS ROOMS WERE FANTASTIC GREAT BREAKFAST GREAT SERVICE ALL AROUND VERY IMPRESSED AND WOULD DEFERNATELY RETURN THE LOCATION WAS ALSO A BIG PLUS THE ONLY MINUS IS THE BLINDS AT THE BATHROOM WINDOW. THEY ARE VERY SEE THROUGH EVEN FROM THE BALCONY!

The location of the hotel is perfect,It has very nice rooms,staff is nice and helpful. I had problems with the A/C in the second night and an hour later i got a different room. Overall i was pleased with the hotel,it's a good value for your money.

Asia Rooms offered a very good price...

Asia Rooms offered a very good price for the Baumanburi Hotel. I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was helpful and the facilities were very enjoyable. The pool is big, you don't feel crowded. The room price included continental (international and thai) breakfast, what I found very handy. The rooms were awesome. Clean, beautiful, and very enjoyable. I'll definitely stay in this hotel again. Thank You.

We found the hotel to be very...

We found the hotel to be very well placed, a five minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to Jung Ceylon (a very good shopping mall) with many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is also 10/12 minutes from Bangla rd for lots of bars/gogo bars. The hotel itself is has good facilities, a very good pool, a fitness centre and spa. the rooms are well furnished and of a good size with good bathrooms (full bath & excellent shower). Most rooms (maybe all) have balcony's overlooking the pool. A very good buffet breakfast is served poolside from 6:30am until 10:30ish.. The Reception Staff were very helpful at all times and when asked for a room closer to our friends it was provided without fuss. The maid who lookd after our room was also very helpful and accomodating. The restaurant staff were friendly. The pool contains a pool bar where the staff were ok,. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would certainly return.

I am sorry but for 3 and...

I am sorry but for 3 and 1/2 star Hotel I would give it only 2. My wife, Son and I were eaten by mosquitoes nearly every night even though we sprayed the room and ourselves with insect repellents. The whole room smelt very musty when we came in the beds and general cleanliness was OK mind you we were in the deluxe room which was very standard @$120AUS. The TV was terrible with very poor reception and 2 lamps and light were not working poor electrical workmanship. The staff were friendly, nice, but lacked motivation at breakfast they stood around instead of going and topping their customers coffee or tea at table, not very proactive, (one example) possibly due to lack of training or Management supervision. Breakfast was OK average from places we have been in the past. At the end we were happy to go back home.

Booked a deluxe room with a queens...

Booked a deluxe room with a queens size bed. On arrival hotel staff had given our room to some one else, deluxe room with two single beds was given in place... (Poor management).. Day after moved to the only free deluxe room which seem to be the only deluxe room for a reason... A generator was the cause of this room being free. Bell boy had assured me that the generator would switch off during the night.. No chance of that! Poor Hotel, If you do stay ring them up at least a day before and make sure they have what you have requested! or at least a better room on a high floor!
