We (myself, my husband and our 2 year old) stayed there for 2 nights, a transit from Phi Phi Island before we took our flight back to Singapore. The hotel location is great. Right opposite the new Hard Rock Cafe. 5 mins walk to the beach and 5-10 mins walk to Jung-Ceylon shopping centre. The Patong Shopping Paradise is right beside it. A good place to do your shopping than Bangla Road. And behind the hotel there are huts of little bars which are family friendly. No pick-up girls or bar hostesses to harass you. Overall, the location is really great if you are looking for a place to stay where it is not too near the blaring nightlife but still near if you are looking at a little night life. The best part of this hotel is their swimming pool. It is big and designed in a very interesting shape. And they also have a jacuzzi and a big children's pool. However, what they could do is to improve their cleaning maintenance. It was quite dirty like you can find rubbish like empty plastic bags etc. We stayed in the deluxe room. The size is spacious and it has a L-shaped sofa bench at the corner of the room. Room service was slow though and they came really late in the day to do room make-up. And several hours to clear food trays left behind outside the door which we noticed from the room next door. I will consider this hotel again in the future if I couldn't find any other good value room.

We stayed in one of the superior...
We stayed in one of the superior rooms and everything was very pleasant, the room was on the 4th floor and we did not hear any road traffic. The pool area was great. Breakfast was more than adequate. Very happy overall with this hotel.

Good location and value for money. Rooms...
Good location and value for money. Rooms are a good size and staff are friendly. There is a charge of 500 Baht per night if you bring a guest back and they are quick to charge. Beach and night life activities are very close and easy to walk. Breakfast is also good.

i'm having a great stay at baumanburi...
i'm having a great stay at baumanburi hotel. it's cheap n very near to shopping centre n surronded by so called night market. i am very satisfied with the room service as they are very sensitive with my religion n sensible as i'm muslim. the food is also not bad. and overall i would definitely come here again if i gi to phuket.

Baumanburi is in a great location,staff are friendly, breakfast buffet great lots to choose from. Rooms were clean however there was a bit of mold in bathroom when I mention to staff they seam to not understand English all of a sudden. But over all, for the price was a excellent place to stay with family. the kids loved the pool.

THIS HOTEL WAS PERFECT FOR US AND WE WERE A LITTLE UNSURE AFTER ALL THE REVIEWS BUT WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. LOCATION PERFECT NOT FAR TO WALK TO ALL POPULAR SHOPPING SPOTS AND THE BEACH ROAD. PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS AND BARS VERY CLOSE BY. WE STAYED IN THE DELUXE ROOMS AND WAS VERY HAPPY. RECEPTION WAS MORE THAN FRIENDLY AT ALL TIMES! SOME NIGHTS A LITTLE NOISY WITH PASSES BY BUT THAT IS NOT THE HOTELS FAULT IT IS THE INCONSIDERATE GUESTS. FOR THE COST OF THE ROOMS THIS HOYEL IS A BARGAIN!!

Surprised that the hotel lobby looks pretty...
Surprised that the hotel lobby looks pretty good and clean. Room was huge with a king-sized bed which we were very happy about. Bathroom was abit small, no bathtub, and water wasn't too hot on the first night. Subsequent nights were fine. Sheets were clean but there were some stains, which I could look past. Breakfast was edible but somedays we didn't mind missing it and eating out. Pool was quite good, alot of greenery and decor around the pool area. Many deck chairs to chill out if the beach is too crowded. A little noisy though, especially in the early morning when we were still sleeping. It's abit far off from the mall and Bangla Road, walk to the beach is around 5mins, which is ok.
