very bad experience. i booked the superior room and therefore, the building with superior room was located outside the hotel building. i did not feel like part of baumanburi's guest at all. the walls are not sound proof and i could hear everything, people coming back to their rooms, people talking at the alley, etc. room did not look like the photo in the brochure. i could not watch the tv because the signal of every channel was so bad. the room was very dark because the bed side lamp was not working. there is a bath tub though.
i requested to change a room within the hotel building but they said it is only for deluxe and pool access. how can they say that? superior rooms are baumanburi's guests too.
second day, they called to say that they are transferring us over to another building. still, outside the hotel building but at least, there is a bridge linking both buildings together. room was better. bright and pretty but no bathtub. i felt cheated as they made us stay one night in an old useless room.
5 mins walk to patong beach, photo does not reflect the real situation at all. pool was smaller than expected, buildings shorter, etc. however, staffs were friendly and conveniently located.
never want to stay here again.
