Not as good as good as expected....
Not as good as good as expected. Cause no additional ammenities from 2nd day onwards. Lots of mosquitos and insects in the room. Too many telephone calls selling hotels promotions early in the morning eventhough do not disturb sign was posted and front desk was informed. Too commercial or hungry for business.

Everything perfect The service was excelent. The facilities are very good. The Spa treatment is a little bit more expansive than elsewhere but it really is a reason to visit the Dusit Laguna again! It is very nice that all facilities of 5 hotels are available. We will definitively return to the Dusit on our next trip to Pukhet.

We had a great oceanview room, and...
We had a great oceanview room, and the staff was very friendly in arranging for transport to the airport. Generally, located within a great resort which is self sufficient, which means there is really no need to go to Patong area if you only wish to rest and chill. And the spa is fabulous.

laguna dusit is a place where you...
laguna dusit is a place where you plan to stay there and not going out anywhere. it is a romantic place to be if you like sea and sun. disappointments are the services are very slow, for example when asking for morning newspaper to our room.the next most dissappointing thing was that the taxi there are controlled by locals and they charge you double the usual price and you have no other options. be ready to spend more for the food.

The room we booked through Asia rooms...
The room we booked through Asia rooms was an Ocean Front delux. However on arrival we found this room to be quite old and dated. Because of this we upgraded to a new room called the Dusit Club Room.This was far better and also offered lots of extra services like afternoon tea and drinks in the lobby bar every evening between 6 and 7 for free. Also it offered a late check out at 4pm which was perfect. We would definatly go back to the Dusit Laguna but we would book one of the Club Rooms. The hotel is going to be refurbishing the other rooms a.s.a.p so when this is done it will be perfect. The service was fantastic, my wife and I have been to Thailand twice before and this was probably the best time mainly down to the hotel and service. As the hotel is part of the Laguna Phuket resort you also have access to 4 other hotels on site which is great for a change at night when you go out for your evening meal. We found the Banyan Tree resort amazing although slightly more expensive. On the beach there is also a great local thai resaturant called the Lotus. This was superb for lunch and it also has an evening menu. If you want some authentic thai food during the day for half the price of the hotels then this place is a must. Overall we had a great holiday and we would go back tommorrow if given the chance.

We were upgraded to deluxe ocean front...
We were upgraded to deluxe ocean front room which was newly renovated in lovely contemporary style. Great to be able to step out of room to either sit on private terrace or on the beach ! The hotel is the only one in the Laguna resort to be sited on the beach front. Beach is wide, sandy and very clean. Comfy loungers are provided for free. Food is reasonably priced for 5* hotel but wine is more expensive here than other hotels in the resort. La Tratoria is nice place to eat (esp outside) and weekly buffet is ok but choice is limited. Our only problem was that we booked the room for 3x adults (girlfriends holiday) but only two of everything (including bed) had been provided. Was a long discussion with manangement and rearranging of furniture to fit in. If we booked a triple room expect it to be suitable for 3 people. However overall the hotel is one of the best I have stayed in and is highly recommended.

We stayed at Dusit for 4 nights...
We stayed at Dusit for 4 nights at the start of our 15 night holiday and the last 2 nights. From the outset we were made to feel welcome and the staff were charming. Our original seaview room looked out onto a construction site, but after one short complaint we were moved to the other end of the hotel with a beautiful view. The room was great, the hotel is in a secluded area of phuket with access to 5 other hotels in the "Laguna" complex. Fantastic beach, spa and the Italian restaurant is superb! Great for families, not as secluded as we originally hoped (large hotel)but everything else about the hotel more than made up for this one shortcoming. Will def be back esp as a jumping off point before moving on to the other islands.

We booked the Ocean front delux room...
We booked the Ocean front delux room but were not impressed by the quality of the room. The room was not big, very dark and the bathroom was basic. From our window we were looking straight at the beach front restaurant and could hardly see the ocean. The food in the restaurants is very good but the service is not the best. Considering the hotel charges a 10% service charge on everything you would expect better service.
