The Kata Beach resort well what can i say but a simply fantastic hotel which helped contribute to a wonderful holiday. The hotel was emaculate, staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you and the rooms were large, clean, well decorated and comfortable. Situated right on the beach the views were fantastic and the the location could not be any better. This is a hotel i would definately recomend to anyone.

Wonderful location, with the beach right in front of the hotel pool. Service is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Perhaps hotel should change the breakfast buffet menu instead of being the same every day. Will recommend this hotel to friends.
We loved the Kata Beach Resort...
We loved the Kata Beach Resort hotel and its surroundings. We had a marvelous time and hope to return soon. We would definitely recommend it to our friends. My only negative comment is that an unfinished part of floor tiling near the elevator on our floor caused me to trip and hit the opposite wall, almost knocking me out. Luckily I only suffered minor bruising of a shoulder, elbow, and knees, with a very small abrasion to the cheek. The staff showed immediate concern and offered the assistance of a resident nurse, which was not needed. The manager was sympathetic but didn't assure me that steps would be taken so that it would not happen again.
The breakfast buffet and the food at the second pool restaurant were excellent. We didn't have a chance to try the other eateries on the property.

Had a brilliant time at the Kata Beach Resort. Beautifully decorated room. The resort is right in front of the beach. Easy access to the beach. Nice place to relax and unwind. I found the service to be a little slow but they were friendly and helpful all the same. Had to ask three times to get a light bulb replaced, had to wait over 15 minutes for them to let us in the room when we locked ourselves out. Some confusion with the room that we booked (had booked a sea view but were given a garden view) they tried to move us but tried to put us into a smelly smokers room.
Overall a pleasant place to stay. Good value for money. Would still recommend this place to our friends to stay.

About the Kata Beach Resort everything was ok and nice. The room was very nice, the roomservice even better (all the staff was really nice), the breakfast was good as well. What didn't go so well, was charging so much to an extra person in the room (we had been all over asia and it never happend), and after i signed a receipt with certain amount for that extra person, someone change it afterwards to the double, almost the some price as to book a new room......... As we told to the receptionist, for sure we will not recomend this hotel to anyone of our contacts.

This was the first resort that I stayed at while in Phuket and it will be the only one for me! The scenery was breathtaking and the atmosphere was so relaxing. I would recommend this to anyone that would like to just get away from it all and enjoy life as it should be.

Our stay at the resort was wonderful and excellent value for money. Located right on the beach, 3 mins walk to shops and stores for shopping and restaurants. Fantastic price for such a wonderful hotel. Highly recommended.
