We stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel. We were really amazed. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel with a great location directly at the lovely Kata beach. We wished to be able to stay longer, but we thought is was a bit expensive so had decided before we went to move to a different location after 3 days. We had a sea view room which is recomended - the view was stunning. Breakfast is one of the best I have experienced in Thailand.

The rooms in this hotel were very nice, as was the decor and general ambience of hotel overall. However, the property is too small for the number of guests and the facilities provided, and as a result, the pool and bar areas are extremely congested. Fortunately, the hotel is right on the beach, so a few steps down a flight of stairs and you can escape. The service left much to be desired - the standard of English was just not good enough for a large, international hotel, and the reception staff were not forthcoming with advice or assistance. We got a fantastic rate for this hotel through AsiaRooms, so we thought we got pretty good value for money. We would have be really disappointed if we'd have paid the standard rates that the hotel advertises online, or those quoted to us by our travel agent. We probably wouldn't stay again, because I don't think we'll be returning to Phuket. However, if we did go back, and if we could get the same cheap price, we would MAYBE stay again, only because it is by far in the best position of any hotel on Kata Beach.

karon beach.
2. huge rooms, nice sun bed, clean. very comfortable.
3. nice view from hotel.
bad:
1. beach was a little dirty (small debris drifted from waves, litter by beach users, marine clay looks muddy when wave breaks)
2. staff not as friendly/warm compared to other hotels. nevertheless needs are met.
will try karon beach resort (same group) the next time.
i really enjoyed karon beach because it's cleaner. possible to do some simple snorkelling at the beach. my son was thrilled at the marine fishes. from kata, it's
only 100baht by tuk tuk.

The hotel is ideal for the beach, great for shopping and all of the restaurants. Although central to everything the hotel is nice and peaceful. The staff are friendly and service is good.
The rooms are a good size, but beds are very hard.
The bathrooms are small for a 4* Thai hotel, but are big enough.

was able to check in early(off season)front desk staff helpful. Rooms clean, nice big bath tub, HOT water, presentation of the rooms were thai culutre, enjoyed our room. Breakfast was good, american buffet but also oreintal foods noted. Beach was nice, white and clean, Swimming in the ocean was a nice experience with the beautiful view as well. Much better than Patong Beach if you want a more peaceful surroungdings. You can always go up to Patong beach later to party or whatever. The off season price, for me is quite acceptable. We will be back. Asia rooms as always done a fine job with my reservations. I used another service to go to Singapore and my reservations never made it to the hotel we were supposed to be at. The Hotel related that they "never received our reservation". Booking agency said they sent it to the hotel, but DID NOT receieve a confirmation back from the hotel. Word to the wise, make sure the booking agency recieved back all your information sent to the hotel you will be staying. I have never had any problems with ASIAROOMS which I am grateful. A good resort hotel with friendly staff...
A good resort hotel with friendly staff who go out of their way to please. In particular the staff of the busy pool side restaurant and bar were most polite and attentive.
For a visit during the low season this hotel offers excellent value but is quite expensive over the peak period.
My wife and I will be returning next year for another stay.

We stayed there for 2 weeks and had wonderfull stay. This is our second trip to Thailand and we will go down there again. I would recomend to eat at the hotel, but I would also recomend to try out Nathalie's . It's just across the street from the hotel. Great service and good prices.

Me and my fiance have stayed 3 nights in the Kata Beach resort and we really enjoyed this resort a lot. The beachfront location is great and the service of the staff was alright as well, despite that they can't speak fluent English. We put in remark that we are honeymooners while we booked the room through Asia Room and to our surprise, we found that the bed was filled with rose petals. Thanks to Asia Room which provide us hassle free hotel reservation services and we will definitely use AsiaRooms services again.
