I went there alone after my friend decided not to go. The staff there were extremely friendly and you can be assured that they will do their best to assist you in whichever way they can. The room was clean, just that the shower room could probably be bigger. Basic amenities were available, but i thought it would be so much better if they had provided toothbrush/paste and a comb as well which i ended up buying in phuket town's supermarket.
they provide free shuttle service to phuket town everyday, but you could only do about 2 hrs of walking/shopping cos the bus will take u back to the hotel unless u don't mind taking a tuktuk/taxi back to the hotel on ur own. They also do trips to patong beach in the evenings, but at a fee of 150 baht and they bring u back to the hotel at 11pm. so one will prolly deprive him/herself of the nightlife there.
i would strongly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a quiet getaway, away from the bustling beach of patong. You will love your stay there.
The only thing is that the staff are not discreet about your room number cos they have the tendency to repeat your room number clearly, even when there are other guests around which makes me feel insecure.
