We have 4 person in family room...
We have 4 person in family room and the hotel only provide 2 towels for us which is not enough so I requested for extra towels and pillow.We waited for whole day and I had called 3 to 4 times to remind them to send us the Towels and pillow, end up we received our towels the following day. Their service was very very slow. They need to improve their Service.

We had booked Horizon at Patong. On arrival we were told we were booked into the sister hotel at Karon - we weren't, then we were assured we were being upgraded to 5* at Horizon Karon Beach.We were transferred to Karon and asked to look at the room. The room was great, very clean, large, new.We decided to stay at Karon instead of Patong. The facilities at Horizon Karon are beautiful, great pools, beautiful gardens. The location is fair, there is a tuk tuk to get you up the big hill! There is a free"truck" to tranfer you between Karon & Patong. Karon is very much quieter than Patong but there are some great restaurants.As for the hotel the service was very poor, on one occasion we rang reception asking for a local phone number, they never got back to us.Food was also poor. On talking to other guests, the majority had been "upgraded" and also had vouchers for free meals and free massage - we didn't but on complaining about this were given them the next day. Overall the hotel facilities are beautiful but the service lets it all down. It was a very strange set up with so many people being given "free upgrades" when they had booked Patong - don't know what was going on.

This was our second visit in two years and I must say that the first visit was much better, I believe the hotel has changed hands so there has been cutbacks to save money. We had a problem with the room refrigerator and the staff were not so helpful in rectifying the problem, the toilet nearly over flowed on one occassin and our a/c was leaking onto my luggage. Finally they agreed for us to change rooms, but had to be firm in this matter. Overall the hotel was fair value for money and the breakfast was great as was the location.

Overall the hotel is a great place to stay,room is fine.The location is good,a minute walk to the beach.Staffs are friendly and helpful.The only incident was upon checking in time. I've arrived early on that very day and was told that c/in time was 2pm. I noted and i waited,but around 1.45pm I asked if there is a room ready,the front desk told me i need to wait till 2pm then i'm able to check in. i was fed up and i asked do they need to be so promt to let guest c/in at 2pm?? Finally they gave me a upgraded room when i asked for a feedback form. when i was at the pool i've met a few in house guests during my stay,they told me they had the same incident too. Just hope the hotel management will look into this. Thanks.

Found hotel very central, staff plesant, breakfast very good. Close to beach, suggest if you are going to spend time at the resort around the pool that you book a deluxe room at the pool.

Horizon Beach Resort is a Lovely hotel. Good service and helpful staff. Room wasnt ready when we booked in and they offered us an upgrade which was nice but downstairs nr pool which we declined. Shower leaked everywhere on floor but aprt form that would happily stay there again!

The Horizon Beach Phuket is an exceptional hotel, great value for its price and quality. I and 5 friends booked 3 standard rooms but given 3 deluxe rooms upon check-in. The twin deluxe room consits two queen size beds. The room is very large and clean, the TV is 29 inch flat. The service is wonderfully, trully a great hotel. Breakfast choice and quality needs an improvement. The location is also great although the main access / lobby is not beach front but there is an entrance which is directly a beach front. I believe the Horizon Beach phuket hotel is qualified as 4+ star hotel

Hi Everyone,
Horizon Beach Resort is an excellent place to live in. The staff & all the people working are very friendly & helpful. I really enjoyed my place & if i visit phuket again i will definately stay at the same hotel.
The restaurant manager even arranged a special breakfast for me since i was a vegeterian & there was not much to eat at the buffet breakfast which was inlcuded in my stay. On top of that i wasnt charged for the same.
Gr8 place to stay, nice people. Go ahead & stay there..... trust me on that
