First time at Novotel, previously stayed elsewhere...
First time at Novotel, previously stayed elsewhere and would definitely return to this property. The many stairs throughout the property could be a problem for elderly guests. There is a need to update poolside umbrellas as most of them were tattered and torn.

We appreciated the Novotel's traditional Thai decor....
We appreciated the Novotel's traditional Thai decor. Fabulous Sea Views and tropical vegetation were enhanced by 3 great pool areas. A drawback for seniors would be the number of steps from many of the rooms.

My wife and i had very relaxing...
My wife and i had very relaxing time during our stay at this property, we found rooms to be very nice with a great view of Patong Beach, very large king size bed, breakfast was fantastic, the pools we in perfect position to take in the view of the ocean and the location was good, as it is up on the hill. Just a short 10-15 min walk along the beach front to the markets and eatery made for a great start to the day. We would definatley stay here again.

This hotel was great from checkin to...
This hotel was great from checkin to checkout, everything was perfect. There is however a lot of climbing up hills and stairs and if this is not you're thing, this hotel is not for you. Also, it is at least a 20 minute walk from Patong. You can get a tuk tuk but make sure you ask to be dropped off at the bottom of the hill, as the hotel will provide a free car to take you up the hill. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but would probably choose to stay closer into Patong next time.

We had a fantastic stay!!! week without...
We had a fantastic stay!!! week without the kids in a beautiful place. We knew the hotel was situated on a hill, but thought it would be good to be away from the hussle & bustle of Patong... We were right, the walk to Patong was a stroll of about 10-15 minutes. (which we did each afternoon). We did ask for an upgrade(crarged), after our 1st night, only due to the fact I am pregnant and the walk up the hill to our room, would have killed me each day for 8 days. We were moved, without any problem straight away. Our new room, was right next to the pool area. (which was perfect for us; no sound from the bar was heard at all). The staff were more that helpful in each situation, but mostly we were left to ourselves which is what we liked... I would stay again, but if you do have issues with walking, as other reviews have said I would not stay). Enjoy your trip

Good hotel located suberbly on a hill,not...
Good hotel located suberbly on a hill,not very easy to reach by feet Patong centre.Very nice Spa,specially for massage treatments outdoor at very reasonable prices.We found very good breakfast buffets and we appreciated very much BBQ theme dinner,plenty of fresh seafood!!!

I was impressed by the view when...
I was impressed by the view when entering the reception area of this hotel. You got the feeling you´ve really come to the right place. The view from the room was also impressive. Everything about the hotel was high class. The only negative thing would be a certain distance to walk to the beach and the buzz of Patong night life (if this is someting ypou look for). Otherwise I was very happy with the hotel and the value form money when booking thru Asia rooms.

An excellent hotel just a tuk tuk...
An excellent hotel just a tuk tuk away from Patong Bazaar or a 15 min walk. Lots of steps down to beach and from rooms so you need to be prepared for this although providing you are not disabled its not a major problem. The hotel bus will take you down the hill from reception if you require it. The amenities and the staff at the hotel are exceptional and there is nothing to complain about. There are activities if you require them, pool sports in the bottom pool and plenty of sunbeds and towels if you want to sunbathe. The beach also has lots of sunbeds and you can hire them for the day for 150 baht and the food on the beach is excellent and very cheap.
