I was impressed by the service of the front desk and housekeeping staff. Every request, ranging from a change of room with a bigger bed to a toilet choke problem in the middle of the night, was attended to promptly and without any hassle. The toilets were clean and had gleaming new bathroom fixtures prob from the recent ongoing renovations. Incidentally, we checked in while renovations were still ongoing but there was only minimal noise heard. The location is superb, within less than 5 minutes walk fr jungceylon shopping mall, and there were at least 3 nearby halal food outlets, including the in house indian-Arabian restaurant. We so enjoyed the two beautiful swimming pools, which even provide life vests for our little ones! All in all, the hotel although more than 20 yes old, do offer value for money n gd service. My only grouse is that the restaurant do not allow guests to pack their buffet breakfast if they are not able to sit-in, like the time when we booked a Khai islands tour with pick up time at 7am. Instead of considering my request for a takeout box so that we can pack some breakfast items to go, the staff said that we either forfeit our breakfast or we'll be charged 140 bht for items brought out of the restaurant! I feel the hotel shld be understanding enough to cater to the guests who nd to move out early for morning tours or early flights, like how they do at Marriott etc.
