Pleasantly surprised by this hotel which was very reasonably priced. The staff were very sweet and polite, particularly the waiters/waitresses and the housekeeping staff. Hotel in good location across street from the south end of Patong Beach - not quite so many vendors at that end! Easy walk into the centre of things for all the action.

Thank you Asia Rooms for allowing us...
Thank you Asia Rooms for allowing us a very nice stay at Seaview Patong. This was my first trip overseas and we booked over the internet for the first time so you can imagine we felt a little anxious if the Hotel was as good as the Reviews on your website said. We needn't have worried as we found the Hotel as good as most of your other reviews and would like to thank them all for taking the time write a little about it. The only hiccup we had, and I have read that other people have had the same problem, was when we arrived we had 2 single beds instead of a double bed and we requested ocean views and the only view we had was of the building next door. After telling the young fellow who took us to our room of this problem he promply got on the phone then told us they would have the right room for us the next day and in the mean time someone would be up to push the beds together to fix that problem. That suited us as we got there late and they did put us in the room we were expecting the next day. The room itself was all we required for 7 nights stay as we weren't in the Hotel much as too much to do and see. We loved the look when we went in as the bed was very big with a white cover and maroon runners it looked very fresh and very thai which is what we were hoping for. We had a TV and the view of the ocean as requested. The bed itself was very comfortable but the bathroom, although clean, was a bit small for 2 people. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we visited friends on the ground floor and their rooms were much bigger and newer than ours with very big bathrooms but all in all we were all happy with our individual rooms. We liked the location of the Hotel which was at the end of Patong Beach away from the husle and bustle but only a 10 min walk to most places. We only caught a tuk-tuk twice instead of walking and thats when we had rain after dinner. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices and always topped up and fresh. The Chef cooking all types of eggs while you waited was also a bonus. We also enjoyed breakfast overlooking the ocean and watching the locals come for their catch of the day from the fisherwomen who would lay out her catch for all to choose. Thanks again Asia rooms.

Booked 4rooms/3 nights at Seaview Patong via Asiarooms.Upgraded and no hassle with check-in.Value for money. The only downfall were the "unbearable Stingking smells" from pillow sheet and blanket. The other major dissapointment was upon checking out, we were asked to pay "unresonable fees" for laundry bag and "do not disturb-ornament" of which we would avoid taking if with clear instruction and indication of pricing on items in rooms.

Good resort, quite comfortable value for money. Breakfast is adequate. Nice surroundings. Quiet end of Patong Beach long walks to Bangla Road area. Even though we made the request for a double bed we got single beds and had to go through the routine of having them joined.

An excellent all-round hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely room overlooking the pool with sea view. Buffet breakfast was really good with a large choice of food for everyone. Sitting out on the terrace overlooking Patong Beach was just like paradise. It is the last hotel on the end of the Bay so it is a little walk to the centre but taxis are readily available if you can't be bothered to walk! Would definitely return to this hotel on my next visit to Phuket and would thoroughly recommend the Seaview Patong to everyone.

We booked through Asia Rooms and everything...
We booked through Asia Rooms and everything went extremely smoothly. Reception staff greeted us in a friendly manner and the porters were helpful taking our luggage to our suite. We were thrilled to be given a lovely suite on the 3rd floor, and the view was wonderful. The bathroom was large with separate shower cubicle, fresh towels left for us every day and complimentary toiletries if needed. Our bed was very comfortable and at 6ft wide, amazing!! The balcony was lovely and spacious also. We had 2 day beds in the suite also. Each day the maid would service the room extremely well, leaving the room door open as she worked, however only once did the evening staff spray the mozzi repellant thoroughly underneath the pelmets, where the blighters would hide until we went to sleep. Air con was very efficient but we still managed to wake up with at least 6 fresh bites each day, no matter how much repellant we applied to our skin. The staff in the dining room were really sweet, and breakfast was a huge selection of everything you could possibly want, to suit all nationalities. One critisism though would be that the bain maries holding hot food were not replenished frequently enough, so they were often empty for quite a while. We did use the dining room for evening dinner once and the food was excellent and so was the presentation, however it did work out quite a bit more expensive that in town, owing to the service charge and VAT. The 2 pools were very nice, and cleaned regularly. The only downside to sunbathing around the pool during our first week, was that about a dozen guests of a certain nationality thought it perfectly OK to chain smoke around and inside the swimming pool, stubbing out their ciggies in the plants, decorating the centrepiece of the pool. I would like to see the staff at the hotel stamp this out as it was totally out of order in many guests opinion. The complimentary fruit kebabs at lunchtime were a nice touch though. The beach was not very clean and the sea didn't look too inviting at this time of year, being low season. We spent much of our time during the first week around the pools. The second week unfortunately we had rain for the majority of the time, so had to spend much of the day either shopping in the town/Jungceylon, or in our suite. Had to use the taxis from outside the hotel, as it was too far for me to walk, with a back injury. Beware of being ripped off though, if you do decide to do an island tour with them. They will take you to the Gems factory or cashew nut factory as they get given fuel vouchers, so if you are not interesting in parting with huge amounts of money at the Gems factory or not interested in cashews please be firm with them before you get into the taxi. We had not been warned beforehand. Would probably stay here again, but have many places to visit before returning to Patong.

Two of us stayed here on the...
Two of us stayed here on the basis of tripadvisor recommendations and were not disappointed. We'd booked a superior room through AsiaRooms - great internet price. Checking in after the flight at night was staightforward and we were shown to a lovely room with a balcony looking over the Andaman Sea at the southern end of Patong Bay - beautiful view. It was also lovely clean sand and water in front of the hotel without the rows of lounges and umbrellas further around. The room and bathroom were both a decent size and well appointed and clean. The water pressure was excellent, beds extremely comfortable - clean pool/beach towels each day in addition to bathroom towels. Breakfast was excellent - huge array. The pools were beautiful and grounds attractive and spotless. We had 1 hour Thai massage in the hotel's luxury spa centre - 700 baht with taxes and charges - absolutely worth every penny even though you can get massages around Patong for a lot less. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and charming. We found people generally that way which really added to our enjoyment. Easy walking distance to everything - or plenty of taxis out the front - 200 baht will get 2 of you anywhere around Patong in taxis or tuk tuks. The main markets in Patong are across the road from the back of the Holiday Inn. Just a tip - it's worth paying the 550 or 600 baht for a taxi from the airport to your hotel (and back) just to save the drudgery of the shuttle and other transport dropping off dozens of people all around the place and getting to your hotel a long time later. When you come out through customs at the airport there's taxi counters on the left where you purchase your ticket and they'll show you to a cab - so easy after a flight when the fastest way to a gin and tonic is the only way! Highly recommend this hotel - not too big or small - great location, excellent amenities and service - and will stay here again.
