We stayed at this hotel for 11...
We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights till the end of October and found it to be a perfect base in Patong Bay. We stayed in a deluxe city-view room and found the room to be very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we could have wished for. The balcony overlooked the busy main street but there were double patio doors installed which kept out the noise quite well.
The hotel's location, directly on the beach is almost unique in Patong and we loved being able to walk from the pool area, straight on to the fantastic two mile long beach.
The hotel pool is relatively small, but it was never busy and sun loungers were freely available.
In other reviews we have seen people criticising the breakfast, but we thought it was very good with plenty of choice including an omelette station. Great coffee, which was needed most days after sampling the vibrant Patong nightlife, which is centered virtually around the corner from the hotel in Bangla Road.
We found the entire hotel staff to be extremely friendly, courteous and helpful and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay there again and in fact would have extended our stay if the hotel rate had not virtually trebled on Nov 1st, going in to high season. Next time we will take our entire holiday in October and put up with a bit more rain, which we quite like anyway.

I arrived very late on the night...
I arrived very late on the night of my booking and was not given the room which I booked.... I booked a deluxe pool view room and was put into a back corridor room. It is obvious that because I was a single lady they just put me where they wanted. My friends from Australia experienced the same thing earlier this year and I hope that the complained also. I will tell all my friends about the bad room allocation and I will NEVER stay there again

We stayed here for one night and were very satisfied with the room and the staff and everything. We were very surprised and thrilled when they upgraded us to a five star hotel so we could stay together with the others in our group. We were upgraded to Graceland, which was wonderful. I would definitely stay at Patong Bay Garden Resort because it is right on the beach and close to alot of the action. thank you very much for making our holiday so wonderful.
all over is good but the service...
all over is good but the service of massage not good.I wanted to do massage i had waitting for quite sometime but no one inform me even no people to do massage.

i was staying in the Patong Bay for 2 days. It was just an incredible moment that i ever had. at first i came into the lobby, there were welcome drink which was unexpected by me. the fantastic part was, i booked deluxe view room in asia rooms. and u know wad, the staffs just upgraded my room to junior suite which is very2 big room, with the cold aircon, first floor, very near to the beach, and it was just unbelievable. the services in there was perfect. the hotel also have a special room for those guests whom have a nite flight and need to take a bath. the room also just super nice! thx for patong bay and asia rooms. definitely will go there again.

When we got there it was not a 4 star hotel we changed to graceland and that was fantastic.

We stayed at this hotel for 8...
We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and all in all we had a good time except for some problems. We had no hot water for showers and even calls to the Manager were met with "please call the owners".
The room was a good size Andaman Suite with beach frontage access via the front doors, but was spoit by a shelter erected by the jet ski guys.
To sleep of a night you had to turn off the noisy air conditioning and hope that the people above did to because it would vibrate through the ceiling.
The staff were average and some a little lazy but the suprise was that the security guys were polite and cheerful.
I have written a few reviews during our stays in hotels all around Asia and this is probably the only one that gets a negative review in 10 years of travelling.
We may stay at this hotel again for the location but would definately not stay in one of the higher priced rooms as they are relly not worth the money.

I have to say first of all...
I have to say first of all the service that we recieved from the new manager who aparently had just started was 1st class she was fantastic!
now the truth about the hotel , if you are on a budget and not looking for somthing flash stay here it will be a good place to start a holiday ,the pictures on the internet were a little deciveing, it is a bit old , in need of an update , the buffet was avereage the pool was alright... best thing about it it was in front of the beach & if action is what you are after welcome to phuket! overall not a 5 star
maybe a 2 star? (big maybe) in there defense they did tell us they are renovating? so go figure
it is in a god location but its old
but if the renovation were done I would probaly stay there again ...
