This is the 4th time i've stayed...
This is the 4th time i've stayed at the 55 room Baan Boa resort and I just love it. It's super value, the staff are freindly and very efficent, the rooms are fantastic and nice and big with super quiet air cond. A lot of resorts in Patong Beach have very noisy air conditioners but not the Baan Boa. Breakfast here is not quite as large as the bigger resorts but still very adequate. I throughly recommend the Baan Boa to anyone who is travelling on a fairly tight budget but wants up to date accomodation. A motorbike taxi to Banga la Rd is about 40 baht as it is a fair walk to get there. But one real positive for the Baan Boa due to its location is it is very quiet.

Good location, patong beach is just across the road. Its located in the quieter side of patong so you'll need to walk about 15 mins to reach the shopping/clubs/restaurants area. There is a 7 eleven conveninece store adajacent to the hotel.
Staff is friendly and helpful, pool is small but good enough, breakfast was OK. Great value for money.

The hotel is great except it's abit far from the town. If you do not mind to spend 20 minutes walk to have dinner, this hotel is excellent. It is rooms to be improved as there is no bathtub and the drainage always flood. I would think about to visit hotel during my next tour to Phuket.

The Baan Boa is located at the quiet end of the beach and is 10 steps from hotel to sand.
We thought the hotel great value for money, with pleasant staff and adequate facilities. We went in the low season (June) and thought the hotel would be ideal for families although it doesn't have a lift.
We would be very pleased to return here.
We spent three nights in Phuket Patong...
We spent three nights in Phuket Patong Beach area with different hotel each night. Baan Boa Resort is my most favourite hotel during our stay. We checked in this hotel earlier(at about 12.30 noon) with no extra charge. When we step into the room, it really surprise us with the decoration on the bed. I booked this hotel as honeymooner. They decorated the bed with some flowers. One more surprise was that they have already filled up the bathtub with water & flowers. Although we checked in earlier, but it seems that they have ready the room much earlier because our checking in process only took a few minutes before the bellboy brought us to our room.
After we checked, we found out that our room is one of the two rooms at the same floor which have seaview. Other rooms at the same floor are blocked by other buildings. We really appreciate their thoughtfulness. The staff are very helful and friendly too.
However, this hotel is located at the southern end of Patong Beach. So, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes walk to Bangla Road(the most crowded place at night). If you don't mind the walking, Baan Boa Resort is a good hotel to stay.
I booked the room thro internet but...
I booked the room thro internet but was shocked to see the quality of the rooms which they offered to me as soon as i reached there.I changed my mind to cancel the booking and go to another hotel.Only becuase i was cancelling the rooms did they agree to offer me the best room they had. I agreed to stay only becuase my kids were extremly tired and i was not in a position to run around and look for a better hotel. One more reason for me to forcefully stay in this hotel was that may be i cannot get my money back which i had paid to asia rooms.
The worst part was the poor service. The represntatives at the front desk were not freindly to us and they always looked grumpy.They were never helpful to us to part with any information we wanted and always diverted us to their travel desk who were very arrogant.The travel desk always wanted us to use their abnormally expensive services.
Also the complimentary breakfast was bad and unhygenic. We requested them time and again to offer us better breakfast but they did not listen to us. generally all hotels change the breakfast menu everyday but this hotel literally had the same and ditto menu for all the days.One would get fed up eating the same food for a continous period of few days. Now a days a lot of hotels offer few dishes of Indian and vegeterian food but this was not the case in this hotel. The manager of the hotel also did not care to our complaint. I request Asia rooms to delete this hotel from their list as people would loose faith in asia rooms also. I have travelled across the world but the services of this hotel was very bad and i recommned nobody to stay in this hotel.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and the swimming pool is nice. The hotel is facing the beach and the sea. However, the hotel is not located in the popular spots, so we need to walk quite a distance to have our meals. Although the road lamps are not bright, I guess it's safe to walk along patong street at night.

Very good hotel for the money. Room was clean and well presented and staff were friendly & courteous - particularly the breakfast team. Location is just about right - far enough away from the centre of the town to be able to relax, but only a 5-10 min walk from the action.
I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Fantastic value for money. Rooms are nice, though the ground may get slightly sandy. The rooms on the first floor opens up to the pool, which was great. It's also along the quieter stretch of Patong Beach, not too busy & noisy, nor too distant from civilisation. Next to a 7-Eleven too, which makes it very convenient. Would consider going again.
