Very Good Hotel for stay in Phuket!
It was my 3rd stay in Baanlamai hotel with in past 5 years, experiece was as usual very good , all the facilities are good and as per expectations, location is one of the key asset for this place.. very well organised and friendly polite staff. Will recommned this hotel for all my friends

Very Bad Experience
They have very very poor hotel management system. First, I wait for half an hour to check in, because the room key is lost...... Second, I got at least 10 mosquito bites at the hotel lobby during waiting....Third, you will never get things even if you dial their room service line.

Great place for great price
1st time visit to Phuket and was warmlywelcomed by this resort. Arrived there early and they try to prepare the rooms before the allocated chek in time for me and my friends. Free drinks in the room and top it up everyday. The rooms are clean and towels are replaced everyday. Great place to relax and the resort is just opposite patong beach. The receptionist at the counter speaks english and they are very friendly and approachable. Live music at nite at the resort's restaurant. Although water is found leaking from the toilet's ceiling, it doesn't bother me and my friends because we just want a place to rest and relax at night. Overall i think it was a good choice and a great place to stay for anyyone who is looking for a great place to stay at an affordable price.

Awesome place to stay
Had a great stay at Baan Lai Mai!! We stayed here twice the staff are very very friendly and helpful. Food is great and is also cheap, drinks are cheap. Pool is massive and has mini spas all around it. Stayed at Patong Merlin last year in phuket and for half the price Baan Laimai is great value. Very good location its quite close to bangla road. We thought it would be noisy but when inside the room you cant hear any noise from the street. Will be staying here again for new years. Highly reccommend A+++++++

We stayed at the old part of the hotel. Location was good, but the people at the hotel not very effective at all.
2nd, we were told that we had already paid for a gala dinner for NYE, something new to us, as Asia rooms did not advise of such. Adding 3750 baths pr person for a dinner that we did not attend, is very bad service.

Shower rooms
Staff is freindly but find some isues due to langauge barrier.
As we reach hotel early before check in time, they provided a shower room for us to change/shower and get refresh and come back when rooms are ready. Same offer gave after checked out as we had to stay 6hrs after check in out (but didnt used as we advance the flight). We rated this added value added service as this avoid extension of room in order to match with flight schedules. Though it is called shower room, it is standard room with all facilities
Hotel is closer to all activity areas and reachable within 15 minutes walk
Hotel agreed to provid breakfast in packets as we checkin out by 5.5.30am, but message has not communicated properly and staff at counter doesnt aware this.

Customer service very bad, you have to ask many times before they are helping you; It is also difficult to have a smile !
Hotel very noisy, live band very loud until 00.30, you can hear people from the the room next door speaking and all the hotel doors are very noisy when you close them;
