The place is not bad at all considering the price. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is very close to touristy and busy Patong beach. I would definitly recommend this place as a budget hotel.
Room:
The room was a bit smelly, was of a reasonable size and had a balcony with a view on the pool. Bed and bathroom were ok.
Breakfast:
Standard type breakfast. Just fine. Room service menu had many options and was priced very reasonable.
Facilities:
I do not recommend you book a bus from the travel agent in the hotel. We booked a bus for pickup in the morning to catch our flight and the bus simply did not show up. However the hotel was kindly enough to send us to the airport with a car on their expense.

a medium sized hotel. Has a family feel. Very friendly staff. Rooms are very clean and the food is good. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Good value for money. Easy access to Patong and the beach but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.

Very good location. Not too far from the bars and restaurants (five minute walk) but far enough to be peaceful on a night. The food from the hotel restaurant is very good. The one thing that let the hotel down was the choice at breakfast and the service on a morning there you received.

Stayed at this hotel jan / feb 2006 in a superior room which was well worth the extra, it was a good location in a quiet area. The hotel was better than expected with good sized roomes and great bathroom, if i do go to Phuket again i will be staying here, recomended to everyone.

Our frist trip to Phuket. Coconut Village was excellent choice for a hotel in Phuket. Not too close to the night life, peace and quiet but close enough to reach the clubs by walking. Very clean hotel, smiling staff, excellent service. Everybody spoke good English. Pool area fantastic! We enjoyed our honeymoon in Coconut Village! Hotel offers many trips around the Phuket area, beach is near, only few hundred meters. Staff put extra effort on our room service, when we noted that we are on our honeymoon! Our stay was most pleasant, no disturbances. We had wonderful holiday! We are most definately coming to Phuket again and we will stay in Coconut Village again! We recommend it to all travelers who can climb stairs to their hotel room ;-) Pool area is excellent for families with small children, live music and good food at the hotel restaurant will invite you to dine out and smiling staff invites you to return to Thailand!
Coconut Village Resort is very well placed...
Coconut Village Resort is very well placed off the main Patong beach area. All staff were very helpful and pleasent.I have send another reservation for a 2 day break.I will be recommending to my friends to stay here

First time in Thailand and Coconut Village. Well impressed. Staff friendly, kind and helpful. Good location, rooms comfortable and clean. No complaints, will return.
I was pleasantly suprised at how good...
I was pleasantly suprised at how good the Coconut Village hotel was. Located at what I consider the better end of Patong Beach, its is walking distance from everything. A quick 5 minute stroll puts you on Patong Beach and a 15 minute stroll puts you in the heart of the Patong nightlife so there is no need to waste money on a tuk tuk if you stay here.
The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was good and the pool area is perfect for some rest and relaxation. The hotel only reopened in the middle of October 2005, so there is still some renovation going on but that is more than acceptable given what happened in these parts. I would definately stay here again.
