I stay at Jiva Resort for 5...
I stay at Jiva Resort for 5 days 4 nights with a kid. There are three swimming pools with nice facilities and my room is very very close to them. So that is why I like it also.
Since the location is in kata beach and a bit far from Patong Beach and Phuket Town, there is no shuttle bus provided for going the above places. If yes, that is prefect.
The area of resort is a bit big but the room has balony and feel OK.

A great hotel with wonderful staff!! The food and spa is a bit expensive and there are a lot of kids in the hotel. But over all it fantastic. Would go in the Jiva Resort hotel again.

We stayed at Jiva Resort in may-june 2004. We all loved it. Nice rooms, very nice staff and great food. The food and spa is a bit expensive but it's ok. A very great hotel!!!
Hotel facilities were nice and we enjoyed...
Hotel facilities were nice and we enjoyed our stay. Staff members are very helpful in person, but it was difficult to communicate by telephone in English. We enjoyed massages at the spa, the gym is small but good condition, and there are good cheap Thai restaurants within just a block of the hotel.
We would recommend to families, but singles and couples beware, there are lots of kids everywhere! The hotel is designed to cater to Scandanavian guests, we were the only Americans there.
