Wonderful
Having stayed here during peak time - yes it was very expensive in comparison to other places in the area and for Thailand in general, we had an amazing time. The service was excellent, the rooms very clean and serviced daily. The room could do with a bit of updating but I guess it adds to the character of the place. We were extremely happy and will definately stay there again.

This boutique hotel may be on the expensive side but the location right on the beach is perfect. Sipping your cocktails or dining in the restaurant whilst watching the sun setting - it can't get any better than that! The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you.

We have stayed at the Boathouse annually for at least 3 years and it suits us very well although it is not the most modern hotel in Phuket. The staff are very attentive and the restaurant although expensive is excellent

This hotel was fabulous from the moment of check-in to check-out. There were welcome drinks on arrival and the room was nice and comfy. Fresh fruit platters, bottled water and the newspaper were provided daily. The scented oils provided a nice touch. The decor was in keeping with the wooden theme of the hotel and the bed was massive!
Didn't try out the pool or spa because the hotel is right on the beach and probably because it was the low season (21-30 September was the length of my stay), there were enough sun beds for all hotel guests. The Boathouse Wine and Grill restaurant was lovely - great view looking out to the beach and the food was divine (breakfast, lunch & dinner)!
The staff there are friendly and very helpful. A great place for couples and romantics - I definitely recommend it if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Patong.

Excellent accommodation on one of the best beaches in Thailand if not the world!
Dinner was excellent and if expensive by Thai prices quite modest by International luxury standards.

The beach offers good snorkelling, swimming and even surfing over clean soft white coral sand.
Far, far from Patong and the wilder excesses of Phuket nightlife but its just 20 minutes if you get the urge.

The location was great, right on the beach and away from all the throngs of people at the main tourist destinations.
The booking service was very poor. Mom's never replied for over a week and I find this unacceptable.
Ordered a pick up from the airport and the price was not market related to what taxis are charging. Also had a driver who seemed to think that the roads were his own personal Grand Prix circuit. This experience was extremely unpleasant.
The breakfast is very good, with a good variety of choices.
The swimming pool was out of commission due to ongoing building.
The staff weren't particularly friendly, and was highly annoyed by the fact that I booked a late check out. On the morning of check-out we were told to move to another room as a repeat visitor was arriving later and always stayed in the room we had. The alternative room had a moisture problem and it stunk terribly. For this reason alone I will never be a repeat customer, or recommend this hotel to others, because I don't appreciate this type of treatment.
I don't feel that this hotel is value for money as the experience was not particularly "wow" for the price. The best thing going for it is the natural setting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort and would return. The ocean setting was beautiful. The only negative is that we couldn't see the ocean from our room because of the trees. The breakfast buffet was very good with a nice variety of foods.

Location, on the beach is great except that you cant really relax, constant interruptions from people walking up and down beach trying to sell you souveniers. Comfy chairs, towels, iced water and fruit are provided on beach which is great. The pool is small and a bit budget motel looking. Room didnt have much of a view compared to other rooms, we were put on the bottom floor in the corner surrounded by plants which mostly blocked the view of the ocean. Room was clean, fresh fruit and cocktail on arrival was lovely. Room seems a little bit outdated. Air con was great, the robes and slippers were comfy. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, beautiful view from the restaurant. We had dinner there one night and it is quite overrated and overpriced. The food is a little overcooked and dry. I have had much better for less. No air con in restaurant, but glass doors left open let a slight breeze in, no probs there. Wouldnt say its worth $140 per night per couple, probably worth about $90 per night. The Moevenpick on Karon Beach which is a large resort, which i tend to avoid was absolute heaven! Would recommend this one over Mom Tri's, the pool/gardens/service/room are well worth $160 per night.
