We love this hotel.At first, the stuffs...
We love this hotel.At first, the stuffs were curt in breakfast time, I found that was their natural way. I have never eaten such excellemt Breakfast. It has chaged every day. The room we stayed was large and very comfortable and clean. The house keeper was very friendly and polite. We could enjoy wonderful view of their pool. Whenever we go to Puket, we are sure that we stay at this hotel !

Normaly I stay in another hotel, but that was closed, so I have to take a new address, Partong Merlin is excellent, beautiful pools, good staff, acceptable rooms. I will be back !!

good but a little disappointed!
when we arrvied the hotel, feel good because it's very beautiful and well-organized, except for the staff of the hoel seems not so friendly, have not too much smile on their face! this is not so good for a 4-stars hotel. and more worsen is the key of our room have some problem, we cannot open the door many times, have to ask the hotel staff for help every time. we stayed there total 3 nights, but they didn't find a good way to solve the problem soon, just waste our time.

value for money
the room was very clean, when we asked to be moved to a more convenient room this was done very easily. The breakfast was excellent, the location and facilities also excellent. We were very close to the entertainment area, however the music stopped at 11pm and was never a problem. A very plesant holiday

A GREAT STAY
We stayed at the Patong Merlin for 9 nights in February 2011. It was wonderful. It is a very large hotel with very good facilities. We were upgraded to a Pool View room. There was a good buffet breakfast with an excellent variety of foods, which was included in the room price. It is a very picturesque resort, with a number of pools and is in a good location, opposite the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.
Return visit
5th time we have stayed at Patong Merlin Hotel, although the grounds / infrastructure are starting to age this is still a great place to have a holiday. staff are friendly, rooms are big. suggest you ask for a pool view room as outside rooms have little to look at. We booked on line as we travelled from Koh Samui, as it was our wedding anniversary reservations gave us the same room we had 2 years ago with fantastic pool views. Breakfast is great and plenty of it. Hotel provides reasonable priced private taxis.
