excellent escape
this hotel was good , clean and certainly value for money. Would love to stay here again with children. It has 4-5 pools including childrens. The clean beach is about 2minute walk away. For the evening the shopping area is 1minute walk away and is lined with all types of eateries including halal restuarants. We had thai food on one of the small huts near the hotel , it was excellent. It is about 45 minutes drive from the airport . The hotel also has a small music group performing age old english songs in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay.

We did enjoy our stay at Patong Merlin. Breakfast was excellent. Personnel was very polite and helpful. We will come back to the same hotel whenever we visit Thailand.

Great holiday
We have stayed at Patong Merlin 10 times in the last 21 years
and have always found this hotel up to standard. We thoroughly recommend it as ideal location in Patong and value for money.

The room was ok,spacious and clean. The bed though, was extremely hard. Must be the hardest mattress I have ever experienced in Thailand. Little dissapointed that there was no complimentary water in the room. Nice and big poolarea with 3 swimmingpools. Enough space for everybody. Breakfast was good. Alot of different food to choose from. Location is close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. To get to the beach you will just need to cross the street. It takes about 10 minutes walk to get to Bangla Road, which is the main street of nightlife in Patong.

Beautiful spa service here worth paying more than what you would on the street for such luxury. The pools are amazing and very clean. The beds were too hard is my only complaint

I loved the Patong Merlin! The rooms...
I loved the Patong Merlin! The rooms were clean and spacious, the pool areas were huge and there were almost always lounge chairs available. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Patong and would definately stay there again!
