The hotel is very well located, in front of a quite beach. The staff of the hotel is very helpfull and the service is great.
The only thing not clear (between asiarooms, the hotel and my family) was that we paid for 2 adults + 1 child . Asiarooms collected USD 36 for the double room + USD 19 for the child.(per each night)
When we arrived at the hotel there were only 2 beds so I claim for the extra bed and the people at the hotel said that it was not included. After some phone calls between the hotel and "the agency" they put an extra bed "free of charge". But when we were leaving the hotel, a staff of the hotel told us that they had to collect +/- usd 15(each night). We refused it all, and after some conversations they decided not collect anything for the extra bed. So pls, be carefull about this kind of things and pls be as clear as possible !!

It's such a nice hotel, though a bit small in size but perfect for family. Big and nice room, like the wooden window which link the bathtub to the bedroom.
And it's wonderfully located just opposite the beautiful Karon beach...... Really enjoy the stay there.

Our stay at this hotel was terrific. The only glich is that in Thailand (Phuket and Bangkok) is appears that ice is a commodity only to be given in restaurants and and staff seem to have never heard of vacationers wanting a bucket of ice. If you can get them to understand what you want, they may send you a HUGE bucket of ice and charge you 100 baht for it. But, the staff were terrific, trying very hard to please, the place was clean and the location was wonderful. The beach is right across the street and it is in a pretty isolated place. Be sure that you take in some of the guided tours to the other islands. They are inexpensive and some of the greatest snorkeling to be had. I will definitly return.

The hotel is strategically located. The beautiful beach front is just across the road and it's not so clustered like Patong. It's more peaceful and relaxing in Karon! Less than 5mins walk from the hotel is a small shopping area. And another 7-10mins walk further down from that area is Karon Circle where there's more shopping and dining. For those who would like to go to Patong, a one-way tuk-tuk ride shouldn't cost more tha BHT200.00. Breakfast was fine, to my expectation. I will definitely stay here again.

My missus and I stayed here for 5 nights mid dec 05 we loved it here. The only minor problem we had was the bathroom shower curtain didnt contain the water within the tub and would flow onto the bathroom floor which wasnt a biggy :). But everything else about the hotel was ace. Staff were great and clean sheets were provided everyday, and as for beach towels we would get a spare set if we were using one. When requested for things e.g powerplug converts it was brought up to my room within minutes. Every morning and everytime we entered the hotel foyer we're greeted with a smile. We recommend this hotel to anyone. Must say this is worth the pennies not an expensive hotel with great facilites and staff.
P.s we forgot to add we had a crazy driver from the airport to hotel. But i guess every driver in thai are crazy. wasnt too bad.
Best price hotel you can get in...
Best price hotel you can get in karon area. Highly recommended for people who want to have cheap yet good accomodation. Room excellent. Staff friendly. A short distance to the beach.Less than 100m.
The only downside is the buffet breakfast. The menu does not change much each day. For the price one pay, it wonderful!

The bell boy was really friendly, the rest of the staff do a respectable job but not really giving a wow factor. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean, but it is a big letdown to find the wooms with seaview only allow you to have a very limited view of the sea from the room. Overall, Karon Princess is a general mid-range hotel that provide the basics. But its location in Karon beach means you need to spend alot on transport to travel around Phuket.

The room is new, clean and spacious, very value for money. We stayed for 3 nights @US$30 per night, so it's quite a catch. We had a king size bed room which has a balcony and also a side couch long enough for another person to sleep. Buffet breakfast included however the food is not to expectation. Swimpool includes a kid's pool. Quiet location and near the beach. Not much shopping around the area, though restaurants are a handful. We travelled to town by songthaews and did some shopping.
