Excellent Hotel but there's still room for improvement
The hotel room was big and spacious. However, the management should consider doing renovation to improve the hotel's infrastructure as it's starting to look old. The room was clean though. The service was acceptable and the staff were friendly.

Breakfast team
The workers on the restaurant on the breakfast time are not so polite, mainly a short and a little bit fat girl, she is not polite and every morning with close face.
The breakfast close exactly at 10:30am, I was eating and I would get more some foods and at exactly the time they tool everything out really fast from the tables, and didn't ask anybody if anyone needs to get the last time.
For two days finish the bacon and chesee.
Breakfast crew must be improved.
The front of the hotel is horrible, all the steel structure rusted. Bad view.

weather great in August, rooms a little shabby, however pay for what you get, everything worked, booked group of 6 girls, rooms close by. pool great, staff know little english. close shopping and restuarants, massage , buffet breaky included in price, long walk from room to recption area
5 great nights
Delayed flt due to volcano ash Emailed Hotel They contacted Asia rooms for us and after arriving 1 day late we stayed 1 extra night cause we loved the position opposite the beach and service. Pool is great A second small one has a spa on lower level We did not eat at the reataurant 3 nights as we read a bad review but when we did it was the best food we had had. Breakfast was plentiful and varied Staff attentive Almost identical hotel next door had higher rates bigger pool slightly better decor but Princess better value by far Princess also had a fabulolus ballard singer/guitarist (John Lennon lookalike in minitature) sang ballards in english beautifully every night We will definately return Sandra & Mick
Good value for money
for 943 THB per night low season i will say good value for moneyin the past i have paid lot more than that for worst accomodation in the same area . full of russian package tourist but that was not problem for me stayed there before and will stay there again.staff could be a bit more pleasant
Poor in Phuket
This location, whilst located in a great spot, leaves a lot to be desired. The staff are friendly enough but the room could have been cleaner. Breakfast was absolutely appaling, the worst hotel breakfast I have ever endured. If it wasn't for the omlette bar there would have been very little choice. Eating dinner in the restaurant was a definite no. Expensive and just as bad as breakfast!
Wonderful stay
Karon Princess is just a stone throw away from Karon beach. With bus that passes by directly in front of the hotel, or you are willing to spend more, tuk-tuks are abundant. A few minutes walk away is a bazaar style shopping area and a few minutes more you can find a internet shop which charges only a baht per min! Breakfast choices actually changes every day and is free with hotel stay. It will be a perfect stay if wifi is provide free by the hotel. But i must say it is totally worth the money and Karon is the best choice if u do not want to spend too much and have a total pleasant stay.
Good position. Not too close, not too far
While the position of the hotel is reasonably well situated and the room came with a beach glimpse, the hotel was a little run down and there was a constant smell of sewerage near the reception. I had to do a 5am check out and it was funny to see the staff asleep on the lobby lounges. ha ha very thai. The breakfast included was fine but not so sure about the, 2 per day free re-sealed, glass bottled water offered to guests. I think this may have been what made me sick for 2 days. They should supply normal plastic bottled water free. At $70AU per night near peak time, a fair hotel.
Karon Princess Hotel.
Having stayed at this Hotel many times before, I find it convienent to all I like about Phuket the staff are extra friendly and helpful the rooms are a nice size and very comfortable. I found that making a late booking with AsiaRooms saved me time and money and it worked like a charm when I arrived. I would recommend AsiaRooms to anyone and I always recommend The Karon Princess to any of my friends as a wonderful and inexpensive way to enjoy a great holiday in a beautiful and friendly part of Thailand.
Internet Problems
This hotel has not free access internet. It's not problem, because it was writen in the website, but the problem is that you pay for use the internet by hour, but the system always charged around 20 to 30 minutes more than I used everytime I access the internet.
They can charge for internet, but they must be honest and trustfull.
We are upset with it.
