A decent place to stay at a reasonable price
Stayed there for 4 nights and had a good time.the room is decent and clean.The hotel staffs are all very friendly.definitely recommended to anyone who is looking for a decent place to stay at a reasonable price.

Comfortable
We are 6 girls in group stayed in family room. the room is very nice and comfortable.. we love it very much.. besides, we love the swimming pool as well. cos there have 2 pools, we dont need squeeze with others compare to other hotel..
the breakfast is delicious and many choice compared to other hotel. good!!
Only one thing we have not happy is the attitude of receptionist. The way they talked to us is not polite.

No better place to find in Phuket Patong area
This is one of the nicest small hotels you can find in this budget price range. The room we stayed (1309) was spotlessly cleaned every day. The staff is friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is mainly Thai with a minimum of 'Western' food but after all this is Thailand. The location is very central in a small sidestreet away from the loud noises of the hundreds of bars. Only a few minutes walk from the shopping area's and the beach. Very happy we stayed here and it is 100% recommended!

Not a bad place to stay. Area is away from the busy nightlife at bangla street. Stayed at 2 bedroom apartment. will definetely stay there again.

Bad Services
1. We booked 2 rooms in Dec last year. When we checked in on 17/3/2011, one of rooms was upgraded. But when we checked the another room. it was down graded without balcony that not as same as described in confirmation imformation. As we asked, they changed another same grade room, but we was required to change to another next day. 2. The most disgust is room cleaning, the used cups they did not clean or wash but just put to the original place. And same manner to the bed sheet.

nice place to stay....
very nice and beautiful place to stay, very close to patong beach and charming hustle bustle of night life in Patong city. Rooms were very nice and clean, also hotel staff was very warm and friendly. Breakfast served was very good and full of variety. Only a bit missing thing in my room was the clogged bathroom flush which always filled bathroom with water, though I dint think it that worthy to complain of, overall I loved my trips in the Phuket city and enjoyed peaceful stay in the hotel

Crooks
we booked our room back in march for new years eve for a very good price. When we went to check in they had already sold more rooms at the currently going higher rates and moved us to a backpacker on the outskirts of patong beach...extremely rude and unhelpful staff..never going back to this hotel or booking through asia rooms again

Stay for 4 days 3 nights , the people there are very friendly.
Affordable and good location , minutes to the beach and jungceylon sc. The only thing is the air con for one of my room was out of order. My complaints was not attended to. Other than that , all was ok.

2nd time we have stayed
Second time we have stayed at Poppa's Palace in 3 years. Is a lovely little hotel, in a quiet street right next to the main happenings of Patong. Lovely pools, clean rooms, and friendly staff. will definately stay again
