Nice hotel in general (including swimming pools, jacuzzi,gym) with big and charming rooms. Quiet location, fantastic gardens, and good buffet breakfast.
Nice staff (though some do not master english too well).
Most rooms have a view, and the villas are exceptionnally well oriented.
Lobby and the outside look of the hotel maybe not quite up to a european 4stars hotel, but who cares.
Kamala beach is the only negative point. Like most Phuket beaches it is not really clean, but to see so much rabbish and dumping places along side was really a disappointment.
It takes only about 1 min walking to the beach, but almost no one is there, and there is no umbrella/chairs waiting for you, so rather stay at the swimming pool.
The Hotel is 1.5km away from Kamala, and though there is no real pedestrian path it is not unsafe to walk from the hotel to that small village.
The hotel provides shuttles to Kamala, but only during the day. Taxis can be ordered at a reasonnable price.
To go to Patong, 5km away, it will cost you 300 bath by taxi, same by tuk tuk (to be avoided, unfriendly and definitively overpriced). Same price for a return ride from Patong. The hotel has only 2 shuttle a day, each for only 10 guests (most of the time it is overbooked).
Spa, meals and drinks at the hotel are fantastic, though a little over priced, but still reasonnable given the good standard of service and quality.
