We stayed at the small boutique hotel...
We stayed at the small boutique hotel -- Twin Palms Resort in Phuket in December. Our Grand Palms room was beautiful, the service was great & great massages at the spa. I would stay there again, but I the only thing I won't do is use their airport transfer service. The Twin Palms charged me US$30 one way for airport-hotel transfer (from airport to the hotel), and just walking next door to the Surin Resort, I managed to book a airport-hotel transfer (when departing) for 500 Baht / US$11. They use the exact same car model too! But other than overcharging for their transport, the hotel is great. Oh, don't bother waking up for the breakfast, the food was a bit disappointing, but then again, coming from Singapore, we have high expectations of food!
