The hotel was alright, definitely not fantastic, they were repainting twice while we were eating breakfast, the pool didn't look all that clean, slime and mold growing under the waterfall, the staff didn't speak english very well, asked for a sheet on the bed instead of just a quilt, which was difficult, and had to ask 4 more times as it was usually removed each day. No Wi-Fi in the room as Asian rooms says, there is a room where you can pay for internet access. The area was pretty dead in low season, eating up the street was cheap and drinks were also cheaper than in Patong. Be prepared for smelly drains both in Karon and Patong.
