I was extremely happy with Salathai Hotel. Great location, close to beach and middle of town (shopping, etc). Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms clean, and the breakfast buffet was good. I have no complaints about Salathai, and would definitely stay there again (especially after seeing some of the other hotels in the area). This is definitely a good hotel for the price you pay.

Excellent. Staff are friendly, helpfull and always courteous. Breakfast included is limited, but at small additional charge anything can be added. Rooms are clean and neat and comfortable. Close to beach (5 mins stroll) and close to Bang La road where all the festivities take place (10 mins stroll) and you can do some serios shopping between Hotel and Bang La. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we can recommend this hotel to all and sundry. The Salathai hotel has an extremely good atmosphere and you feel welcome as should be the case when on an island getaway. Go and enjoy.
I have stayed in the Salathai hotel and to me it was one of the most enjoyment spot for me. It is about 3-5 minutes walk to the beach, 5-15 minutes to the shopping area and clubs. My friends were in different hotels and I had the chance to stay with them but i would choose salathai over all of them..The staff are very nice in the hotel.
I have stayed in the Salathai suite which is the most expensive room. However, the location of the room is right next to the busy street and across from it is an entertainment complex. It can be very noisy if you go to bed early. I have checked the other kind of room (superior) which is nice too. So, I don't recommend upgrading. The staff are very nice in the hotel.
All persons working at the Salathai are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the nice atmosphere at the hotel very much. It's near to the beach and close to town. Free wifi is very useful when you have to do some paperwork sometimes. The bathroom could be modernized but it was always very clean, so were the rooms. Nice pool.
Had a great time. The place was excellent. Nice surroundings. The room was well presented. The location was perfect, close to everything but also quiet enough to relax. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended!!
The hotel is new and a pleasure to stay in. The staff were fantastic. Food was Fabulous. This hotel is one of the friendliest and best i have stayed in. Loved everything about it. Thanks to everyone for making our holiday one to remember. Ten out of ten
