definitely no value for money! the hotel is old and lots of things are broken (fans; jacuzzi; lights; ...). breakfast was excellent. as so many times: wrong booking via AisaRooms.com

Excellent Week
We arrived at the Apasia after staying in Bangkok for 5 nights ready for some r & r. We were very impressed with the hotel and even more impressed by our suite it was more like a self contained condo. We had kitchen, dining area, living space doors opened right up onto stunning view!
Bedroom beautiful with double stone shower & double stone Jacuzzi absolutly amazing. The only thing that I wasn't happy with was the standard of cleanliness.
But would recommend this hotel for couples not great for people with mobility issues though as long walk up to it from the bottom unless you use a tuk tuk.

Perfect...
We spent 4 days at Aspasia. It has a perfect location. The rooms was really nice and the food in the restaurant was delicious. we were very pleased with our stay.

Aspasia, Phuket - 13 to 16 July...
Aspasia, Phuket - 13 to 16 July 2010. Overall for me & my wife it was a get away and long-waited honeymoon, nice ambience and off peak season and not a noisy resort. However, the hotel or resort has too much to climb up and down the stairs to reach the room at the top of a 5 floor hotel facing the sea, otherwise perfect resort with lift access as for senior people like us it is not so convenient. Bathroom shower was under-rated as the resort should provide a better 3-mode showerhead and easy to place onto the holder at the bathroom wall. Present showerhead is very cheap one. Better quality scented / fragrant soap should be provided. When rain comes one can get wet all over walking via the stairs to & fro the coffee shop for breakfast or lunch/dinner. Waitress need to brush up their proficiency in English in the hosipitality line. Richard Ho

This hotel is one of the best...
This hotel is one of the best hotel I have stayed in. I have now stayed there twice and it did not disappoint the second time round. The rooms and views are amazing, the location is great and sufficiently off the beaten track to make it a nice quiet retreat but close enough to get to the town for food and entertainment. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. Their efforts for Valentine's Day dinner was brilliant. Well done and I will be back again....

I was a little nervous to book...
I was a little nervous to book this hotel after reading some of the other customer reports but after arriving at the hotel I couldnt understand why other customers were dissapointed with this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpfull, especially Yan. The rooms were 10 star. We stayed in one of the larger rooms which was absolutely huge with a huge round jacuzzi bath and a huge round shower. We had 2 balcony's, 2 tv's, 2 toilets and a large kitchen. We were even given complimentary food and massage vouchers (wowchers in thai). The only draw back was the hotel was on the top of a steep hill. I hired a moped for £5 a day which solved this problem. I am a company director and stay in lots of hotels and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed for a friend's wedding in Nov'07...
Stayed for a friend's wedding in Nov'07 for 2 nights. Booked a "seaview" room but the only seaview was one that we had to stand on our toes to see (it was actually blocked by the block of rooms in front and we can just see over it). The room was generally ok but for the price (> 110 Euro per nite), I was expecting something 5 stars. Mainly small things like 2 razor and 1 toothbruch (instead of the other way round); were out for 6 hrs only to return to a room still not cleaned; borrowed an ironing board in the morning and then they took it back during our absence (and not cleaned the room either) and then accused us of keeping the board; promised a DVD player but never actaully delivered; only putting 1 toilet roll in the bathroom; for some reason only putting 1 new towel in the bathroom when we are two; no rubbish bin in the room (only in the toilet) - we asked for one but again, never delivered; did not replace soap even after we finished the first one; the room is big but REALLY empty - should really have a sofa in there. The staff are friendly enough but the standard of English for this price of hotel should be much better. As a result, many of our friends had frustrating interactions with the staff. I think the above are really quite solvable but biggest grieve I had was that we are all part of the same wedding party but were quoted vastly different prices by Aspasia (mainly more expensive) - in the end I got the best price amongst most of our friends from Asiarooms!!! When I did not book through them direct (went through Asiarooms), they came back to me with a cheaper price - I would have thought since my friends were hosting the wedding there that they would have a standard best rate for guests and not subject to discount upon negotiation etc!!! and the wedding party rate should not be higher than what people can easily obtain through other agents!!!
