I was travelling alone and booked the Terrace Seaview Room. In terms of price, it's up to standard. Clean and tidy. But the shower of the bathroom was a bit broken and the water running slow. If you want a better resort staying conditions, I guess Lagoon section might be a better choice than Terrace rooms.
Also, the sound proof of the room was a bit poor. Your could hear people flushing toliet in the next room; of course, some other sound as well.
(2) Breakfast
I think all rooms were including free breakfast and that's why its always crowded; unless you had the breakfast before 8am. The taste of the food was not bad but not very good neither.
(3) Swimming Pools
There were 3 swimming pools but only Lagoon Pool provided towels. You had to walk a long away to pick that and back to the Terrace Pool. And the no. of chairs beside the pools were not enough; because the pools were just in a right size; not so big. Luckily, the good service of the pool side staff overcame this imperfection.
(4) Location
The location was exteremly convenient and there were a lot of restaurants and pubs around, also money exchange and supermarkets, massage shops, etc. And its very close to the Karon Beach; only about 3 minutes walk. However, if you want a very commercialized night life; Karon beach shall not be your choice; better back to Patong.

It was my birthday during my stay in the hotel; and it was so sweet that the hotel prepared me a birthday cake.
Overall, I think it's value for money.
