Facilities are good. Room is clean with an excellent access to the pool. Great for those who like the pool.
However, the hotel is quite far away from Karon beach. A one way trip to the hotel from Karon costs about 100 BHT. Walking is possible (about 15 minutes) only during the day because the road leading to the beach is very dark at night. Hotel provides shuttle bus service to the beach but only twice a day.

We chose this hotel because we thought the concept of having a pool access in every room was fresh and interesting. When we arrived there, we definitely weren't disappointed. The pool was clean, well maintained and well lit during the night. The hotel staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The room size is more than adequate for the 2 of us, and the bathroom is new and clean.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to experience this new concept of having a pool access right at your doorstep. We had drinks and smokes right at the balcony, dipping our feet inside the pool. Very cosy and relaxing atmosphere.
Perhaps the only minor setback about this hotel is the location. It is pretty far from Patong Beach, and we had to spend quite a fair bit of money to get to Patong beach on some of the evenings. However, if Patong is not your cup of tea, and you don't mind a 15 min walk to Karon beach, which is up and coming in my opinion with nice restaurants coming up, then this hotel will be perfect for you.

I stayed 3 nights at The Access Pool Resort. Staffs were very nivd and kind. We could enjoy swiming easily because we can access a pool from room directly. Resort were very calm, so we felt the comfortableness. We have the plan to stay at here again on next visit of Phuket.

We had a wonderful trip. The resort was quiet, the staffs were helpful and nice. The room we stayed was nicely decorated and romatic. We would stay here again and would recommend it to all our friends.

We stayed 3 nights in June 2006. The room was bright and clean, decorated in a modern Thai style. The bathroom (though a tad small), was very clean, and its window just beside the bathtub allowed us to watch TV while having a soak! We loved the pool access from our room. The service staff were impeccable, helping us to book a day trip (and called to confirm with the tour operator when they were slightly late in picking us up). We would definitely consider staying in this hotel again, when we visit Phuket.

Staff are very friendly, helpful, nice & with a smiling face all the times. Even the resort are not big enough but ovely & we feel comfortable while we stay. A point can be improved is the bathroom's shower is not strong enough. Without doubt we love to return & would like to recommended this resort to everyone.

I had been stayed in this hotel...
I had been stayed in this hotel for five nights in April 2006. The room and the environment of the hotel because it is new. It has several swimming pools and the water is crystal clear. The staff are nice and helpful. The breakfast have more food will be better.
But I am sure I will stay at the hotel again.
We chance upon the Access Pool Resort...
We chance upon the Access Pool Resort last month as we couldn't get any hotels at the last minute (it was peak season in Phuket). Although it was a little pricey, however, the hotel was absolutely lovely. It helps that it was a relatively new hotel. The rooms were nice, with the pool directly at your terrace, the staff were great. Theye even put up the names of guests arriving to make you feel welcomed. A short five minutes drive (or 20 mins walk) will take you to the beach, and the shopping areas where there's also plenty of bars and restaurants around. The bathroom however, can be improved. The shower cubicle is a little too small, and the shower curtain doesn't stop the water from splashing all over the rest of the bathroom. Overall, it was a good experience! Would definitely stay there again if prices are more attractive.
