Very nice resort to stay with your family . We choose the pool villa. And my little daughter enjoy to swim there everyday. The front desk staff are very kind and helpful. Highly recommend to stay in this resort for relax. But there is a bit far from Patong. We hired a car in phuket and have to drive around 40 minutes to Patong.
A quiet getaway
This place is great if you want to relax on a quiet private beach. The beach is actually a bay where the view is great. Waters are not clean enough for swimming though, but there's the resort swimming pool which is beautiful and just beside the beach! The staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs. We stayed at the ocean view suite on the hill slope overlooking the bay. Just be clear what kind of trip you want- if you are looking to shop/party at patong beach, it's not near but there's a free shuttle from hotel to there at night.
Overall, it's a idyllic Place to chill. The minus is the airport transfer which can be abit lower on the side of 800baht one way. (no metered taxis around there except from airport).

The response of the servants are very...
The response of the servants are very slow, and their English understanding is very poor. The glasses left in front of my room over night, until I check out they are still there! Besides, some of the fixture is not well fixed, some of the lights are not work in order.

My wife and I have just spent 7 nights in a beach front villa. What a wonderful experience, the accomadation is spacious with large bedroom, lounge, bathroom and private plunge pool. The staff are very friendly and accomadating, there when you need them but your privacy is important to them. if you want to stay somewhere with someone special in beautiful surroundings then Bunderika is the place for you.

The resort is new, the villa itself clean, spacious with an excellent jacuzzi pool. Complimentary wireless internet also provided. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A very good experience overall.
The only downside is that the location is very secluded with no transportation available other than booking through hotel. But learnt from the resort that they are planning to provide complimentary shuttle service to Patong from November onwards. And the beach nearby (Layan beach) is only suitable for strolling during daytime -- swimming not possible.
Food is good but considered expensive in Phuket. In any case you don't really have a choice since the only restaurant available nearby is the one inside Layan Beach Resort.
Recommended for honeymooners or travellers who want quiet time. Good value for money.
We stayed in a canal, pool villa...
We stayed in a canal, pool villa of Bundarika just few days ago. A very good villa, luxury and spacious. There is jacuzzi in our swimming pool. If you like a very super quiet & peaceful environment, Bundarika is a very good choice. You can see no other guests in the villas and even in the restaurant. Service and people of the villas are nice & friendly. They offer free limosine pick up from your previous hotel / airport. However, there is only one restaurant in the villas with limited choices of food. You have to go to Phuket town (take 30 min. by car) or to Phuket Laguna nearby for dining. Not suitable for kids.
