We had decided to stay at Manathai...
We had decided to stay at Manathai following the recommandation from one of the receptionnist of Tamarind Village in Chiang Mai.
Logged on the website of Manathai, we thought the hotel would be confortable and quiet, just by the beach.
These are some quotes from the manathai website :
« This exciting stylishly presented property faces the turquoise Andaman Sea. It is an exclusive area adjacent to the Amanpuri & Laguna resorts with direct access to the white sands of Surin Beach. »
Not true : we have to cross a trafic road to reach the beach
« Facilities : private beach »
Not true :the beach is not private, and accually it is a very crowded beach
We were also very disappointed by the room which had neither a balcony, nor a terrasse, nor a view and which was furbished in western style, not thaï as advertised in the website.
